Doris M. Burress

Doris M. “Dode” Burress, 77, Augusta, retired legal secretary and tax practitioner, died Saturday, March 27, 2004.
Graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. tomorrow, March 30, at Elmwood Cemetery in Augusta. Those attending should ’ use the Ohio St. entrance.
She was born on Feb. 28, 1927 in Wichita to Henry H. and Sophia (Beck) Bornholdt. She was a member of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include: husband, Jerry; sons, James E. “Jeb” Burress and wife, Lee Anne of Augusta, John Burress of South Dakota; grandchildren, Devin and Justin Burress.
Family requests in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to. the Plane of Mercy, in care of Midian Temple, 130 N. Topeka, Wichita, 67202.
Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta is handling the arrangements.

Gerald ‘Jerry’ Myers

Former Augustan Gerald “Jerry” Dale Myers, 68, Fairhope, Ala., died Thursday, March 25, 2004.
His memorial service was held Sunday at the Wolfe Funeral Home Chapel in Fairhope.

Milton M. Wohlgemuth

Milton M. “Ace” Wohlgemuth, 84, Towanda, retired electrician for AMA, father of Jan Wohlgemuth of Augusta, died Friday, March 26, 2004.
His funeral service was held today at the Towanda United Methodist Church and interment at the Towanda Cemetery.
Other survivors include: wife, Betty; sons, Dale Wohlgemuth of Leon, Rodney Wohlgemuth of Towanda; daughters, Judy Guthrie and Shelly Gray, both of Towanda, Susan Sullivan and Becky Waldschmidt, both of Wichita; 20 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren.
Memorials established with Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice or Towanda United Methodist Church of Christ.
Kirby-Morris Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
Survivors include: his loving wife, Margaret Myers; four children, Keith and Sue Myers of Shalimar, Fla., Scott and Melissa Myers
of Pensacola, Fla., Steven Myers, Renee and Chris Browning, all of Fairhope, Ala.; brother, David Erwin of Tulsa, Okla.; 11 loving grandchildren; six greatgrandchildren; and many friends whom he loved dearly-
Memorial donations may be in the name of Jerry Myers to the Thomas Hospital Foundation, P.O. Drawer 929, Fairhope, AL, 36533.
Arrangements were under the direction of Wolfe Funeral Home of Fairhope, Ala.
