Iola Mae Frerking
Iola Mae Frerking, 75, Grandview, Mo., sister of Cletus Kapplemann of Augusta, died Wednesday, March 24, 2004.
Her funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 27, at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Grandview.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Park Lawn Funeral Home in Kansas C$k Mo. Burial will be m"' Memorial Park Cemetery.
Other survivors include: husband, George; children, Bruce Frerking, Ronda Chiarelli; four grandchildren; sister, Bea Kessner; many nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church fund.
Park Lawn Funeral Home of Kansas City, Mo. had charge of the arrangements.

Helen Louise (Reetz) Stemen, 93, Augusta, retired Cooper Drug clerk, died Sunday, March 28, 2004.
Her funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 3, at the First United Methodist Church in Augusta.
Her survivors are: husband, Richard Stemen; nephew, Roger Reetz of Springfield, Mo.; aunt, Nydene Reetz of Augusta; several other nieces and nephews.
Memorial has been established with First United Methodist Church in Augusta.
Hillside Funeral Home of Augusta is handling the arrangements.
Gerald Holbert
Gerald “Jerry” Holbert, 63, died Sunday, March 28, 2004.
His funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 31, at Dunsford Funeral Home Chapel in Augusta.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. today at Dunsford Funeral Home.
He was a mechanic for Parks Motors for 30 years and owner of P & J Automotive.
He was a member of Kansas Mini Pullers
Association (KMPA) and National Tractor Pulling Association (NTPA).
Survivors include: daughter, Diane Holbert-Coons and spouse, William Coons, Jr., of Wichita; brother, Frank Holbert of
Independence; grandchildren, Andrea Sanders of Tulsa, Kyle Brooks of Wichita; great-grandchild, Hannah Sanders.
The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorial
donations be made to The Plane of Mercy, c/o Midian Temple, 130 N. Topeka, Wichita, 67202.
Arrangements are under the direction of Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta.
Marlin Mattern
Marlin F. Mattern, 86, Wichita, retired Chance Manufacturing employee, father of George Mattern of Augusta, died Monday, March 29, 2004.
His funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, at Broadway Mortuary in Wichita.
Other survivor is his wife, Henrietta Mattern of Wichita.
He was preceded in death by son, Daniel.
Broadway Mortuary of Wichita has charge of the arrangements.
