Dorothy L. Boyer
Dorothy L. Boyer, 90, Rose Hill, retired V.A. dietician, died Tuesday, March 30, 2004.
Her funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, April 5, at Hillside Funeral Home Chapel in Augusta. Burial will be at 2 p.m. at St. Michael’s Cemetery in Fulton.
Survivors are: daughter, Alice Homes of Rose Hill; sister, Mildred Todd of Fort Scott; daughter-in-law, Wanda Pierce of Wichita; 11 grandchildren; 27 greatgrandchildren; 23 great-great-grandc h il dren.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, George and i Luecretia Rei; brother, ! George Rei; son, Thomas Pierce; son-in-law, Patrick Holmes; grandchildren, Mark and Christine Upton.
Hillside Funeral Home of Augusta has charge of the arrangements.
Les A. Henry
Les A. Henry, 91, Wichita, retired bailiff for the 18th Judicial District Court, father of Craig Henry of Augusta, died Sunday, April 4, 2004.
His funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 7, at Broadway Mortuary Chapel in Wichita.
Other survivors include: wife, Betty Ann Henry of the home; son, Darrell Henry of Wichita; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
Memorial established with Kansas Masonic Home.
Arrangements are under the direction of Broadway Mortuary in Wichita.
W.D. Roberts
W.D. “Rocky” Roberts, 77, Edmond, Okla., formerly of Douglass, retired from Santa Fe Railroad after 40 years, died Saturday, April 3, 2004.
His funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 7, at Baggerley Funeral Home of Edmond. Interment will follow at Memorial Park in Edmond.
Survivors are: wife, Vera; sons, Bruce and wife, Niki of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Bill and wife, Gail of Stillwater, Okla.; grandchildren, Angel Oakes and husband, Matt; Will Roberts and great-granddaughter, Lydia, all of Stillwater.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church of Edmond or Edmond Elks 2578.
Baggerley Funeral Home of Edmond is handling the arrangements.
