Samantha Rose Nichols
Samantha Rose Nichols, 2, Douglass, died Saturday, June 5, 2004.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, June 10, at the First Baptist Church in Douglass, with interment in the Douglass Cemetery.
Visitation today until 8 p.m. at Hilyard-Smith Funeral Home in Douglass.
Survivors include: parents, Chris and Terrie Nichols; sister, Bailey; grandparents, Dan and Andrea Nichols of Douglass, Janice and Johnny Clark of Wichita; great-grandparents, Dalphine McDaniel and Walt McDaniel, both of Wichita, O.C. and LaVera Wright of Hardy, Ark., Arlene Nichols of Rock; great-great-grandmother, Sadie Cobb of Cherryvale, several aunts, uncles and cousins.
A memorial has been established with the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Hilyard-Smith Funeral Home of Douglass has charge of the arrangements.

June 8, 2004.
service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, June f I 14, at Dunsford 1^' MmJFuneral Home CROM Chapel in Augusta.
Visitation will be possible from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Other survivors include: sister, Lakota Crom of the home; grandparents, Jacklyn Lee of Augusta, William Brennan, Terry and Viola Crom, all of El Dorado;
great-grandparents, Jody Vogt of Augusta and Amelia Brennan of Wichita; many uncles, aunts and cousins.
Arrangements are under the direction of Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta.
John Edward Crumbliss
John Edward Crumbliss, 61, Augusta, United States Army veteran and retired postal worker, died Tuesday, June 8, 2004.
Graveside funeral service will be held at 1 p.m.
Monday, June 14, at Memorial Park Cemetery in Chanute.
Visitation from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Monday morning at Penwell-Gabel Chapel in Chanute.
Survivors include: his mother, Della Fewins of Elsmore; daughters, Gina Fleming of Augusta, Melanie Rosa of Yorktown, Va., Jami Crumbliss of Tulsa, Okla.; son, John Edward Crumbliss II of Augusta; brother, John Kevin Fewins of Elsmore; one granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Edward Crumbliss and brother, Ernie Crumbliss.
Arrangements are being handled by Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home of Chanute.
Augusta; 12 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by; son, Billy Dean Thrasher; daughters, Georgia “Jo” Haller, Nita Walter; parents, T.B. and Myrtle “Katie” Durham; brothers, Tillman and Woodrow Durham; sister, Mabel Hopkins; husbands, Charles C. Thrasher, O.C. Cummings and Raymond LaFon.
Memorial donations may be made to Hospice Care of Kansas.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Broadway Mortuary of Wichita.
