‘Mick’ Scholfield
Kenneth “Mick” Scholfield, 88, Augusta, died Friday, July 30, 2004. He was self employed.
His memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 5, at Headley Funeral Chapel in Augusta.
Survivors are: wife, Julia of Augusta; son, Dean of Phoenix, Ariz.; brothers, Dick and Victor, both of Wichita, Joe of Winfield; sisters, Elese Green of Licking, Mo., Martha Lou Michel of Atlanta, Ga.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church-Missions, 1501 State, Augusta, 67010.
Headley Funeral Chapel of Augusta has direction of the arrangements.
Roberta Belcher
Roberta Belcher, 90, Cherokee, Okla., retired teacher and mother of Ann Tickel of Augusta, died Thursday, July 29, 2004.
The funeral service was held yesterday at the First Christian Church in
Cherokee and burial was at Auburn Cemetery.
Other survivors include: daughter, Marilyn Goodwin of Cherokee; brother, Dean Baltz; sisters, Orvella White, Jean Trier and Barbara Brady; five grandchildren; 11 great and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by: husband, Richard Harold Belcher; son, (Dickie) R.H. Belcher, Jr.; brothers, Darrell and John Baltz; sisters, Mary Frances Allen and Virginia Matthews.
Memorials may be made to Cherokee Manor through Lanman Funeral Home of Cherokee, Okla.
Billy Pat Lee
Billy Pat “Bill” Lee, 81, Wichita, retired Lario Oil and Gas employee, father and father-in-law of Kimberley and Gary Smith of Augusta, died Friday, July 30, 2004.
Funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m .Tuesday, at Broadway Mortuary Chapel in Wichita. Burial at 4 p.m., Pleasantview Cemetery in Darlow.
Other survivors include: wife, Mary Bob; son, Burton of Boulder, Colo.; sister, Jessie Brown of Wichita; four grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with Respite
Care, c/o Dolores Cooper, 200 S. Walnut, Wichita, 67213.
Arrangements are under the direction of Broadway Mortuary of Wichita.

June A. Wendling, homemaker, Wichita, mother and mother-in-law of Karen and Ron Agee of Augusta, died Friday, July 30, 2004.
Her funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, at the Riverview Baptist Church in Wichita.
Other survivors include: sons, Gerald Wendling of Park City, Don Wendling of Wichita; brothers, Ed Fowler of Wichita, Bob Fowler of Cedardale; sisters, Viola Martin, Eva Shrode, both of Arkansas City; eight grandchildren; 13 greatgrandchildren.
A memorial is established with Riverview Baptist Church in Wichita.
Cochran Mortuary of Wichita has charge of the arrangements.
