John W. Snell

John Wilce Snell, 75, South Haven, retired farmer, twin brother of Jane Allen of Augusta, died Saturday, July 24, 2004.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday. July 28, at East Bartlesville Christian Church in Bartlesville, Okla. Interment and graveside services will be held in Laredo at a later date.
He is survived by: sons, James of Caney, Jeff of Charleston, 111.; daughter, Jo Snell of Albuquerque, N.M.; brother, Lester of Pratt; sisters, Carol Fornwalt of Penalosa, Sylvia Taylor and Imogene Snell, both of Kingman, Shirley Harrell of Amarillo, Texas, Barbara Shrout of El Dorado, Norma
June Crane of Wichita; three granddaughters; one great-granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; wife, Jean Snell; brother, Charles Snell; grandson, John Francis Snell.
Funeral arrangements and cremation are under the direction of the Stumpff Funeral Home of Bartlesville, Okla.

Haskell Booth

Haskell Elmor “Hack” Booth, 81, Augusta, World War II veteran and retired Tweco Products maintenance supervisor, died Thursday, July 28, 2004.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 2, at Headley Funeral Chapel
in Augusta. Burial will be at 2pm in Harper. Visitation will be from 1 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 1, at Headley Funeral Chapel.
He was born on April 10, 1923 in Lipscomb County, Texas, the son of the late Frank and Olanda (Birkle) Booth.
He married his beloved wife, Hope Audry (Bozarth) Booth on Jan. 12, 1946.
His survivors are: son, Tommy and wife, Drieda Booth of Fair Grove, Mo.; Carrol and husband, Joe Barclay of Wichita; Danny and wife, Lisa Booth of Augusta; daughter, Deanna Bush of Wichita; brother, Don and wife, Wanda of Valley Center; many loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and sisters, Mareda Huddleston and Mary Dorothy Johnson.
The family would like to extend a warm “thank you” to Lakepoint Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Augusta for their excellent care of Haskell and his family in his last days.
Memorials have been established with Prairie Hills Baptist Church of Augusta.

Dolly H. Crouse

Dolly H. (Floud) Crouse, 89, Andover, homemaker, died Monday, July 26, 2004.
Memorial service at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, July 31, at the Methodist Church in Rock.
Survivors are: husband, Ear! D.; son, David F., both of Andover.
The family requests no flowers.
Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta is handling the arrangements.

Viola Eck

Viola Eck, 96, Dallas, Texas, homemaker and mother of Doris Swartz of Augusta, died Sunday, July 25, 2004*
Funeral service at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 29, at Hesston Mennonite Church in Hesston.
Other survivors include: son, Wayne of Furley; daughters, Norma Koehn of Moundridge, JoAnn Isaac of Houston, Texas, Gloria Struble of Dallas, Texas; sister, Laura Wagoner of Saratoga, Wyo.; 16 grandchildren.
Arrangements are under the direction of Lamb Funeral Home of Whitewater. __
