C. ‘Jan’Walker

Charmaine Janell “Jan” Walker, 48, Little Elm, Texas, formerly of Augusta, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 3, 2004. She was an employee of Anderson Merchandiser in Denton, Texas.
Visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday and her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 7, both at Headley Funeral Chapel in Augusta. Graveside burial service will follow at Walnut Valley Memorial Park, El Dorado.
She is survived by: her mother, Lucille Skocpol of Lewisville, Texas; father, David Walker and his wife, Judie of Augusta; Jim Bohannan of Little Elm, Texas; son, Christopher Bryant of Augusta; daughter, Misti Bryant of Wichita; sisters, Donna Hennette of Wichita and Karen Poff of Carrollton, Texas; step brothers, Kenneth Allen of Wichita and Todd Allen of El Dorado; grandchildren, Alexis and Joe Lemieux, Kaitlyn and Scott Bryant; nephews, Kyle, Elliott, and J.Evan.
She will also be missed by many friends and family, including Echo and Bubba.


Donald Ousdahl

Donald L. Ousdahl, 76, Shawnee, father and father-in-law to Paige and Mike Cocke of Augusta, died on Monday, Aug. 2, 2004.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 6, at Shawnee
Presbyterian Church and a private interment at Resurrection Cemetery.
Don was born in Lawrence, attended Lawrence schools and graduated from Liberty Memorial High School. He was a gradual of the University of Kansas with a degree in history, and was proud to be called a Jayhawk.
He was a military veteran, serving in the Guard and Army Reserves for over 30 years. He served in Vietnam from January 1969 until November 1969 as a chief warrant officer. He and his wife, Reta, owned and operated the Lenexa Insurance Agency until his retirement in January of 1991.
Mr. Ousdahl was a member of the Shawnee Presbyterian Church for 40 years, was an ordained elder and student of the Bible.
His survivors are: his wife of 51 years, Reta; daughters, Kim Ousdahl Roche and husband, Joe of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., Tracy Ousdahl Pinney and husband, Paul of El Cerrito, Calif.; grandchildren, Maggie, Kaylee and Suzanne Cocke, Stephanie and Andrew Roche, and Anjali Pinney; mother-in-law, Chorean Weeks of Shawnee.
Memorial donations may be sent to the American Lung Association or the Shawnee Presbyterian Church
Memorial Fund.
Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee has charge of the arrangements.

Vicki Sue Stiles

Vicki Sue (Small) Stiles, 35, Wichita, U.S. Naval Pacific Fleet Commander administrative assistant, died Thursday, Aug. 5, 2004.
Her funeral service was held today at Resthaven Mortuary in Wichita.
Survivors are: daughter, Cynthia Marie Stiles; father and step mother, Doran E. and Josephine Small, all of Wichita; brother, David E. Small, St. Mark’s; grandmother, Phyllis A. Small of Chanute; step sisters, Patty Edwards, Tina Moore, Julie Lewis, Connie Shahann, all of Augusta; numerous nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by mother, Joyce Marie (Moore) Small.
A memorial has been established for research with Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
Arrangements were under the direction of Resthaven Mortuary of Wichita.

Anita L. Fay

Anita L. McCluer Fay, 55, Augusta, died Sunday, Aug. 8, 2004.
Her funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 11, at Headley Funeral Chapel in Augusta.

She is survived by: her husband, Thomas Fay; daughter, Kesten Frisbie; stepsons, Andrew Fay and Mark Jahn.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 10, at Headley Funeral Chapel.
Headley Funeral Chapel has direction of the arrangements.
