Service arrangements were pending this morning with Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta.

Helen Ohmart, 74, Augusta, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2004.
Arrangements were pending this morning with Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta.

Dorothy Mae Marasco

Dorothy Mae (Yakel) Marasco, Wichita, homemaker and sister of Arthur Yakel of Augusta, died Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2004.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 16, at River lawn Christian Church in Wichita. Interment at 1:30 p.m. at Prairie Lawn Cemetery in Peabody.
Visitation 5 - 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 15, at Baker Funeral Home in Valley Center.
Other survivors include: husband, James of the home; sons, Lynn Marasco, Mike Marasco and Mark Marasco, all of Wichita; brothers, Luther Yakel of Wichita and Herbert Yakel of Springfield, Ohio; sister, Viola Wiebe of Canon City, Colo.; seven grandchildren.
Memorial established with Riverlawn Christian Church. Baker Funeral Home of Valley Center.

Clara Jean Kirkpatrick

Clara Jean Kirkpatrick, 80, Douglass, died Monday, Oct. 18, 2004.
A family memorial service will be held Saturday, Oct. 23, in Baxter Springs.
Survivors are: sons, Mark Kirkpatrick of Wichita, David Berry of Crestline; sisters, Bobby Jo Wade of Baxter Springs, Judy Harms of Lincoln, Mo.; brothers, Mike Berry of Riverton, Jack and Tom Berry, both of Lowell.

Thelma Jewel Williams

Thelma "Jewel" Williams, 98, Augusta, died today, Oct. 21, 2004.
Service arrangements were pending this morning with Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta.


Thelma Williams

Thelma “Jewell” Williams, 98, Augusta, died on Thursday, Oct. 21, 2004.
Graveside service at 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 25, at Elmwood Cemetery. Those attending should use the 12th Street entrance.
She was born on Aug. 27, 1906 in Cord, Ark., the daughter of Robert and Rhoda (Nuckalls) Coleman. She married Gardner G. Williams on Nov. 11,1933 in Cord.
She was preceded in death by her husband and her son, Stanley.
Arrangements are under the direction of Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta.

Ollie Harold Turner

Ollie Harold Turner, 92, Wichita, father and father-in-law of Rex and Nancy Turner of Augusta, died Wednesday, Oct. 20, 2004.
Viewing will be from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 23; funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 24, both at Lakeview Funeral Home in Wichita.
Other survivors are: sons, Wendell Turner of Andover, Richard Turner of Benton; daughters, Nancy Sullivan of Oakpark, Calif., and Sheralee Cox of Tulsa, Okla.; 16 grandchildren; 24 greatgrandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Lakeview Funeral Home of Wichita is handling the arrangements.
