Sara F. ‘Sally’ Rogers

Sara F. “Sally” Rogers, Wichita, formerly of Augusta, passed away on Monday, Feb. 7, 2005.
Memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 10, at Chapel Hill United Methodist Church in Wichita.
Visitation with family will be from 2 to 5 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 9, at Old Mission Mortuary in Wichita.
Sally grew up in the Augusta area and was the oldest of six children. She lived in Wichita since 1966.
She is survived by: her two children, Dr. David Rogers of Brazil and Ann-Marie Rogers of Wichita; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two; brothers and one sister.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of over 50 years, Jerry J. Rogers in April of 2001.
Arrangements are under the direction of Old Mission Mortuary of Wichita.

Leslie J. Brewer

Leslie J. Brewer, 26, Douglass, Emprise Bank employee, died Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2005.
Service arrangements are pending with Hilyard-Smith Funeral Home of Douglass.
Sheri Samuels
Sheri L. Samuels, 38, Haysville, Boeing scheduler, passed away on Monday, Feb. 7, 2005.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 11, at First Baptist Church in Augusta.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.,
with family present from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 10, at Headley Funeral Chapel in Augusta.
Sheri was always upbeat, a sports mom, who loved her work and the people she worked for. She was very proud of Dylan’s sports achievements and very excited that Jessica was the first granddaughter in her family.
Survivors include son, Dylan; daughter, Jessica; father, James Smith and his wife, Mary Lou of Wichita; mother, Virginia Andreo and her husband, George of Eagle Rock, Mo.; sisters, Kim Cody of Augusta, Jami Dakin of Emporia, Nicolle Andreo of Wichita, Mariella Munoz of Denver, Colo., Pamela McCue of Wichita, and Michelle Wright of Longmont, Colo.; brother, Steve Rose of Toledo, Ohio; many nieces and nephews.
Memorials to the Sheri L. Samuels Memorial Fund to benefit Dylan and Jessica has been established with Bank of America.
Headley Funeral Chapel of Augusta has charge of the arrangements.

‘Zeke’ Pinaire

H.T. “Zeke” Pinaire, 64, Newton, former owner of Truck Parts & Equipment & Power Drive, died Sunday, Feb. 6, 2005.
Rosary at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 10; service at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 11, both at Christ The King Catholic Church in Wichita.
His favorite hobbies incldued lapidary jewelry and gem art. Survivors are: wife, Monna (Critchfield) Pinaire; sisters, Marycile Beer of Harper, Terri Brenda of S.D.; numerous nieces and nephews.
Zeke was born April 21, 1940 in Wichita to the late Carl and Maxine Pinaire. He was very devoted to his Catholic faith and was generous in supporting Catholic Charities.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established with Catholic Charities in Wichita.
Downing & Lahey Mortuary West of Wichita is handling the arrangements.
