Gary M. ‘Sonny’ Keely

Gary M. “Sonny” Keely 61, Augusta, Buckboard Cafe co-owner, Unitec States Army veteran, died Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2005.
Visitation from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday with family present 6-8 p.m. service at 2p.m. Saturday all at Headly funeral Chapel in Augusta.
Gary was born in El Dorado, Nov.8, 1943, the son of the late Aubrey and Lucille (Mullins) Keely.
He spent most of his life in Augusta until entering the Army in 1961.
After leaving the military he returned to the Augusta area to pursue many business adventures.
He was a founder of the VFW Memorial in Elmwood Cemetery and a lifetime member of VFW and
American Legion. Gary married Julie McHone, Oct. 19, 1965, she survives.
Other survivors include: daughter, Sandy and husband, Kenny
Meusburger; son, Chuck and wife, Staci; sister, Bev Bolinger; grandchildren, Jon and Keely Meusburger, Alex, Jaci, Katie and Kelsey Edwards; step mother, Kathryn Keely; six step brothers and sisters; beloved buddy, Bubba.
In lieu of flowers, the Gary M. Keely Memorial Fund has been established at the White Eagle Credit Union in Augusta.
Arrangements are under the direction of Headley Funeral Chapel of Augusta.

Jerry Rumery, 47, Augusta, died Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2005.
Service arrangements were pending this morning with Headley Funeral Chapel of Augusta.

Phyllis Finney

Phyllis C. Finney, 73, Wichita, homemaker, sister of Claudine Madison of Augusta, died Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2005.
Funeral mass will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 11, at St. Margaret Mary Church in Wichita. Burial will be at 2:30 p.m. at the Douglass Cemetery.
Rosary at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 10, at Hillside Funeral Home in Augusta.
Her survivors are: son, Michael of Wichita; daughter, Shelly (Michael) Mullennax of El Dorado; brother, Jim Davis of Douglass; sisters, Joyce Matson of Charleston, W.Va., Norma Compton of Cheney, and Roberta Frye of Wichita; grandchildren, Sean Amie, Jeremy and April McKibban, Jeffrey Finney; great-
grandchildren, Ashten Finney and Kyler McKibban. She was preceded in death by: husband, Farrol; son, Mitchell Ray; parents, Charlie and Gertrude Davis.
Memorials to American Heart Association. Arrangements under the direction of Hillside Funeral Home of Augusta.

EUREKA - Hamilton, Robert E. "Bob", 84, retired Texaco employee, formerly of Augusta, passed away Friday, February 4, 2005.
Visitation Monday 4-8 at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta. Services 1 pm Tuesday, February 8th at First Baptist Church Augusta.
He is survived by brother, Orville, Jasper Alabama; sisters, Florence Weber, Wichita, Pauline Rader, Chipley, FL, Olive Doehling, Centennial, CO, Becky Miessner, Buffalo, MN; many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, June, a brother, Dale and a sister, Winona Guthrie. Memorials to First Baptist Church, Augusta or Jefferson Street Baptist Church, Eureka.
