Gary M. “Sonny” Keely, 61, rural Augusta, died Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2005.
Service arrangements were pending this morning with Headley Funeral Chapel of Augusta.

Hubert J. ‘Joe’ Leiker

Hubert J. “Joe” Leiker, 76, Wichita, retired SWB lineman, formerly of Augusta, died Monday, Jan. 31,2005.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday,
Feb. 4, at Downing & Lahey Mortuary East in Wichita.
Survivors include: sons, Steve Leiker (Gay) of St. Louis, Mo., Randy Leiker (Paula) of Wichita; daughters, Cindy Little (Scotty) of Wichita, Jackie Disney (Mark) of Andover, Kim Sparks (Joe) of Broken Arrow, Okla.; brother, Lee Leiker of Hillsboro, Ore.; sisters, Edna Brandt of The Dalles, Ore., Mary Frances Millberger of Auburn, Wash.; grandchildren, Jason Leiker, Stephanie
Wilcox, Jennifer Crane, Shane Little, Aaron Disney, Mike Palmer, Kyle Little, Amy Disney, Megan Palmer, Jessie Sparks, Katie Palmer, Jeff Sparks, and Rebecca Sparks; great-grandchild, Jackson Wilcox.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jewell and brothers, Bob and Bill Leiker.
A memorial has been established with American Kidney Fund, 6100 Executive Blvd., S-1010, Rockville, Md., 20852.
Arrangements are under the direction of Downing & Lahey Mortuary East of Wichita.

Fern L. Ridge

Fern L. Ridge, 85, Wichita, beauty operator and mother of Evelyn Rust of Augusta, died Thursday, Jan. 27,2005.
Her funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the First Methodist Church in Pratt.
Other survivors are: husband, Charley F. Ridge of Isabeil; son, Charles L. of Isabell; daughter, Helen Bailey of Pratt; sister, Freda Wood of Greensburg; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are under the direction of All Faiths Funeral Services of Wichita.

Herbert Corbet

Herbert G. Corbet, 85, Haviland, farmer, father and father-in-law of Ralph H. and Susie Corbet of Augusta, died Friday, Jan. 28, 2005.
Funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Haviland United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the Haviland Cemetery.
Other survivors are: daughter, Donna Marie Meckfessel of Goddard; son, Clay Z. Corbet of Haviland; seven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; sisters, Irene Tucker of Kalispell, Mont, and Eva Johnson Daubert of Pratt.
Memorials are suggested to South Wind Hospice in care of Fleener Funeral Home of Greensburg.
