Harley Robert Myers

Harley Robert Myers, 74, Wichita, retired heavy equipment operating engineer for Engineer’s Local 101, father and father-in-law of John and Laurie Myers of Augusta, died Monday, Jan. 24, 2005.
Visitation with family from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday; memorial service at 11 a.m.
Thursday, both at Hillside Funeral Home West in Wichita.
Other survivors include: son, Kurtis of Wichita; daughter, Ginger Pugh of Wichita; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Gladys McAfferty.
Memorials to St. Francis Harry Hynes Inpatient Unit, 313 S. Market, Wichita, 67202,
Hillside Funeral Home West of Wichita has charge of the arrangements.

Clifford Edens

Clifford 0. Edens, 82, Towanda, retired Cessna Wallace Division flight line mechanic and United States Army Air Force veteran, died Sunday, Jan. 23, 2005.
Visitation with family noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday; funeral service at 2 p.m. Thursday, both at Hillside Funeral Home in Augusta. Burial in Towanda Cemetery.
His survivors include: daughters, Alberta Williams of Anderson, Mo., Sue Evans of Towanda; sisters-in-law, Nina Jack and Nora Edens; five grandchildren; six greatgrandchildren.
He was preceded in death by; his wife, Cereta Ruth; his parents, Oscar and Ollie Edens; four brothers and one sister.
Arrangements are under the direction of Hillside Funeral Home of Augusta.

Sylvia Ann Parker

Sylvia Ann Parker 67, Warner Robins, Ga., formerly of Augusta, passed away Monday, Towanda Cemetery.
His survivors include: daughters, Alberta Williams of Anderson, Mo., Sue Evans of Towanda; sisters-in-law, Nina Jack and Nora Edens; five grandchildren; six greatgrandchildren.
He was preceded in death by; his wife, Cereta Ruth; his parents, Oscar and Ollie Edens; four brothers and one sister.
Arrangements are under the direction of Hillside Funeral Home of Augusta.
Visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday; service at 10 a.m. Friday, both at Headley Funeral Chapel in Augusta. Interment will be at Neodesha City Cemetery.
Ms. Parker was born in Neodesha on Oct. 27, 1937, the daughter of the late Luther and Ada (Morgan) Banning. She worked as a cashier and clerk at Conoco.
She is survived by:ex-husband Dean Parker of Warner Robbins, Ga., son, Mike Parker of Lithonia, Ga.; daughters, Belinda and husband, Ronnie Newman of Augusta, Debbie and husband, Benny Haralson of Bonaire, Ga., Terrie and husband, Ken Funk and Janet and her husband, Jimmy Rogers, all of Warner Robins, Ga.; sister, Thelma and husband Frank Cabodie. of Ferndale, Wash.; grandchildren, Tammy and Tracy Haralson; Becky, Nikki and Shelli Newman; Adam, Kevin, Jessica, Julie and Jeremiah Parker; Christopher and Stacey Campbell; Stephan and Brandi Funk; great-grandchildren, Kamron Newman, Halli Knollenberg, Brenton Funk, Benjamin Haralson, and Sarah Parker; niece and nephew Kim and Frank, Cabodie; great-niece and nephew, Makenzie and Braeden Nuse.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Steven and David.
Memorials to Augusta Girls Softball program.
Arrangements are under the direction of Headley Funeral Chapel of Augusta.
