Kenneth D. Burleson
Kenneth D. Burleson, 68, Wichita, retired Beechcraft employee, father and father-in-law to Ken Jr. and Shirlene Burleson of Augusta, died Sunday, Feb. 20, 2005.
Visitation with family from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, and service at 10 a.m. Thursday, both at Resthaven Mortuary in Wichita.
Other survivors are: wife, Jeanice of Wichita; sons, Tom of Euless, Texas and Mike of Pearland, Texas; daughter, Joann Thomas; step sons, Roger Koster of Argonia, Tim Koster of Conway Springs; step daughter, Tamara Finn of Houston, Texas; five grandchildren; five step grandchildren; one greatgrandchild; four step greatgrandchildren.
A memorial has been established with Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice in Wichita.
Arrangements are under the direction of Resthaven Mortuary of Wichita.
Jerald W. ‘Jerry’ Jackson
Jerald W. “Jerry” Jackson, 75, Wichita, retired USMC Capt. and Southwestern Bell engineer, went to be with his Lord Jesus on Saturday, Feb. 19, 2005.
Visitation with family from noon to 1 p.m.; with service at 1 p.m., both on Wednesday at Resthaven Mortuary in Wichita.
His survivors include: loving wife, Mildred; children and spouses, Linda and Art Moore, David and Deb Jackson, Sharon and Randy Lemon, Kenneth and Tina Jackson; brothers, William H. and Don E. Jackson; sister, Ruth E. Ranalli; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to Homestead Health Care, 2133 S. Elizabeth, Wichita, 67213.
Resthaven Mortuary of Wichita has charge of the arrangements.
Joan Frances Linot-Korth
Joan Frances Linot-Korth, 42, Kansas City, Mo., passed away on Monday, Feb. 21,2005 from injuries sustained in a car accident.
Rosary at 8 p.m. Friday, with visitation following and Mass at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 26, all at St. James Catholic Church in Augusta.
Joan was born in Wichita on April 4, 1962, the daughter of Joe Sr and Joann (Swaney) Linot. She graduated
from Circle High School in 1980, graduated from Kansas State University Research Medical Center, and worked as a medical technologist at Community Blood Bank.
She is survived by: sons, David, Eric, Luke and Adam; daughter, Jessica; parents, Joe Sr. and JoAnn Linot of El Dorado; brothers, Joe Linot Jr. and wife, Becky of Wichita, Jerry Linot and wife, Teresa of El Dorado; sister Jean Gibbs and husband David of El Dorado, nieces and nephews, Laiken, Logan, Lenexa, Alec and Reid Linot, Janay, Jacy, Jonam and Jaydee Gibbs, and Natalie Williams.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Roy and Mava Swaney and Maynard and
Memorials in lieu of flowers to St. Catherine’s of Siena Catholic School, or donor’s choice in care of Headley Funeral Chapel of Augusta.
