Marvin Wayne Dix
Marvin Wayne Dix, 56, Augusta, retired truck driver and auto technician, died Saturday, Feb. 19, 2005.
His funeral service will be held at 10 a.m.
Saturday, Feb. 26, at Lamb Funeral Home
Whitewater. Burial will follow at LaHarpe Cemetery in LaHarpe.
He was born on Nov. 18, 1948 in Augusta, Ga., the son of Milo Wayne and Dorothy (Baker) Dix. He graduated from LaHarpe High School.
His survivors are: wife, Beth Mardis of Augusta; son, Norman Dix of Ottawa; mother, Dorothy Baker Dix of LaHarpe; step sons, Richard Mardis of Augusta and Robert Jernigan of Wichita; step daughter, Tammy Flores of Wichita; two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Milo Wayne Dix and brother, Bobby.
Lamb Funeral Home of Whitewater has charge of the arrangements.

Joan Frances Linot-Korth, 42, Kansas City, Mo., formerly of Augusta, passed away on Monday, Feb. 21, 2005.

Pauline A. Helton, 82, Augusta, formerly of Haysville, died Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2005.

Edith Ruth Bowersox
Edith Ruth Bowersox, 88, Beaumont, Texas, died Thursday, Feb. 24, 2005.
Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 27 funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 28, both at Old Mission Mortuary in Wichita. Burial will follow at Wichita Park Cemetery.
She was born on Nov. 3, 1916 in Wichita and lived in rural Butler County before moving to Beaumont, Texas in 1988. She was a member of El Dorado United Methodist Church and will always be remembered as a devoted wife, a mother who volunteered with her church, worked with the Association for Retarded Citizens and with Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital.
Survivors include: daughter, Marilew Kay eadle and her husband James of Beaumont; grandsons, Scott Beadle and his wife Sarah of San Antonio, Texas, Steven Beadle of Seattle, Wash.; great-grandson, Clint Beadle of San Antonio, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis R. Bowersox; daughter, Lois Jane Bowersox; brothers, Joseph Adams, James Adams and Bob Adams.
Arrangements are under the direction of Broussard’s Mortuary of Beaumont, Texas.
