Charles D. Applegate
Charles D. Applegate, 49, Wichita, apartment manager, died Friday, March 11, 2005.His funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Broadway Mortuary chapel in Wichita.
Survivors include: wife, Diana; mother, Mary Ann Applegate of Independence; grandmothers, Beulah Anderson of Kentfield, Calif., and Betty Pierce of Coffeyville; brothers, Newell Applegate of Wichita and Douglas Wilson of Independence.
Arrangements are under the direction of Broadway Mortuary of Wichita.

Sherman D. Wayman

Sherman Douglas Wayman, Rose Hill, Boeing sheet metal mechanic and brother of Gloria Redden of Augusta, died Tuesday, March 8, 2005.
Service of remembrance was held today at Hillside Funeral Home East in Wichita.
Other survivors are: mother, Wanda; wife, Melissa; son, Trevor; daughter, Rachael, all of Rose Hill.
Arrangements were handled by Hillside Funeral Home East of Wichita.


Kenneth Pippin

Kenneth Pippin, 89, Andover, died on Saturday, March 12, 2005.
Service arrangements were pending this morning with Dunsford Funeral Home in Augusta.

Albert Harlan Murray Sr.

Albert Harlan Murray Sr., 80, Wichita, retired dry cleaner service technician and U.S. Army-Air Corp World War II veteran, died on Wednesday, March 16, 2005.
Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, at the Augusta First Church of God.
He is survived by: his children, Shirley, William, Albert Jr., Douglas, Mike, and Ronnie; 10 grandchildren; 11 greatgrandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Daisy, his parents, one brother, one grandson, and one great-grandson.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests a memorial to Harry Hynes Hospice in Albert’s name.
Arrangements are under the direction of Affinity Mortuary.

Bill Grady

Bill Grady, 74, Booneville, Ark., formerly of Augusta, died Wednesday, March 16, 2005.
No services were held.
Survivors include: sisters, Anne Haaga of Douglass and Hazel Gruver of Plano, Texas.
Roberts Funeral Home of Booneville, Ark. handled the arrangements.
