Hailey Elizabeth Bastian
Hailey Elizabeth Bastian, infant daughter of Kara Leedom and Kevin Bastian of Augusta, passed away on Sunday, March 13,2005.
A private family memorial service will be held.
Other survivors include: grandparents, Christopher and Stacy Sanders of Augusta, Viki and Bob Sutton of Farmington, Utah; great-grandparents, Henry and Dorothy Leedom of Augusta.
Arrangements are under the direction of Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta.
Ida Lucile Ades
Ida Lucile Ades, 93, El Dorado, formerly of Leon, died Monday, March 14, 2005.
Funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 17, at Kirby-Morris Funeral Home in El Dorado. Interment will follow at Walnut Valley Memorial Park Cemetery.
Memorials have been established with the Leon Baptist Church or the American Cancer Society.
Kirby-Morris Funeral Home of El Dorado has charge of the arrangements.
Kenneth R. Pippin
Kenneth R. Pippin, 89, Andover, retired Mobil Oil pipeline operator and U.S. Army WWII veteran, died Saturday, March 12, 2005.
Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 19, at the Augusta First United Methodist Church.
Visitation from 4 to 8 p.m., family present from 4 to 6 p.m. on Friday, March 18, at Dunsford Funeral Chapel in Augusta.
Survivors are: sons, Jim and wife, Sandi of Houston, Texas, Joe and wife, Debi of Olathe, and Bob and wife, Betty of Benton; eight grandchildren; three greatgrandchildren.
Memorials to Andover Court Assisted Living Flag Pole Fund or the Augusta First United Methodist Church.
Arrangements are under the direction of Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta.
Mardell Boone
M. Mardell Boone, 83, Augusta, retired buyer for K-Mart, died Sunday, March 20, 2005.
Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, March 24; funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, March 25, both at Hillside Funeral Home in Augusta.
Survivors include: spouse, Myron Boone of Augusta; sons, Russell Boone and Daniel Boone, both of Augusta; daughters, Okema Fowler of El Dorado and Mona Calvin of Cambridge; sister, Mary Jane Town of Toronto; nine grandchildren; 13 greatgrandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are under the direction of Hillside Funeral Home of Augusta.
William A. Slater
William A. Slater, 56, Phoenix, Ariz., brother and brother-in-law of Joe and Marietta Slater of Augusta, died on Tuesday, March 15, 2005.
Memorial service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, March 26, at the Burton Barr Library in Phoenix.
Other survivors include: his wife, Minnette; brother George Slater; sister, Leah Eckley; children, Tylor Slater and Kyndra Slater; four grandsons; countless friends and acquaintances.
Memorial donations in his honor may be sent to “Friends of the Burton Barr Library,” 1221 N. Central Ave., Phoenix, AZ, 85004.
