Clayton I. Burns

Clayton I. Burns, 84, Medicine Lodge, formerly of Augusta, retired
Southwestern Bell district manager and U S. Coast Guard veteran serving in World War II.
His funeral service was held today, May 25, at United Methodist Church in Medicine Lodge. Burial will followed at 3:30 p.m. in Elmwood Cemetery here in Augusta.
His survivors include: son, Nick Burns of Medicine Lodge; sister, Geraldine Pippin of Augusta; two grandsons; one step granddaughter; two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two infant children, brothers, Oliver, Gerald and Roy Burns, and a sister, Geneva Reed.
Memorials may be sent to Medicine Lodge Golf Course or Barber County Home Health.
Larrison Funeral Home of Medicine Lodge has charge of the arrangements.

Clifford Roberts

Clifford “Bill” Roberts, 76, Augusta, retired United States Air Force and Beech mechanic, passed away Sunday, May 22, 2005.
There will be a private family memorial service.
His survivors include: former wife and friend, Peggy Lou Roberts; son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Darlene Roberts of Augusta, Wayne and Karen Roberts of Wichita, Kirk and Julie Roberts of McPherson, Lee and Lori Roberts of New Braunsfel, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Laurie and Mike Boston of Oak Grove, Mo.; brothers, Don Skoulat of Wichita, Ralph and Albert of Calif., 21 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by: parents, Grover and Eva; son, Kenneth Crislip; granddaughter, April Palmer; brothers, Kenneth, Grover, Laurel Cecil, Richard, and sister, Virginia.
Arrangements are under the direction of Baker Funeral Home of Valley Center.

Mary Kathleen ‘Kathy’ Parker

Mary Kathleen “Kathy” Parker, 61, Kaw City, Okla., mother of Jennifer Kay Phillips of Augusta, died Tuesday, May 24, 2005.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 27, at Roberts and Son Funeral Home Chapel in Blackwell, Okla. Burial will follow at the Blackwell Cemetery.
Other survivors include: husband, Ray Parker; daughters, Kimberly Ileen Proctor of Leon, Kristi Leigh Field of Wichita; sister, Rita Marie Blubaugh of Arkansas City; seven grandchildren; 1 one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Damien Leo and Marie Blubaugh; sisters Jean Carter and Joan Blubaugh, and brother, Joe Dean Blubaugh.
Memorial donations to Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation - Scleroderman; Research, may be sent in care of Roberts & Son Funeral Home, 120 W Padon, Blackwell, OK 74631.
