Angela K. Swartz, 48, Douglass, homemaker, died on Wednesday, May 25, 2005.
Her funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 31 at Dunsford Funeral Home in Augusta.
Visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, May 30, at the funeral home.
Survivors include: husband, Bobby; parents, Mary and Glen Shook of Wichita; sisters, Jeanie Meyer of Park City and Sherril Boyd of Derby; grandmother, Naoma McCarty; children, Lara Dodson (Dustin) of Douglass, Alex Kuhn of Wichita, Kaitlyn Swartz and Bobby Swartz, Jr., both of Douglass; step children, Mark Kuhn and Jason Kuhn of Wichita; grandchild, Ashten Blaize Dodson.
Memorials in loving memory of Angela, may be made to the Corner Bank, 305 S. Forest, Douglass, 67039.
Betty C. Graham
Betty C. Graham, 72, Halstead, formerly of Augusta, trustee of a charitable foundation, died on Wednesday, May 25, 2005.
There will be no service.
Survivors include: sister-in-law, Delma Copp; niece and husband, Elaine and Bill Cyphers, all of Augusta.
She was preceded in death by husband, William L. Graham; mother, Nellie B. Atwood; brother, Mark H. Copp; niece, Nancy L. Guenthner.
A memorial has been established with Caring Hands Humane Society, 1400 S.E. 3rd, Newton, 67114.
Arrangements are under the direction of Downing & Lahey Mortuary East of Wichita.
Smitherman memorial
Memorial services for Dorothy Mae Smitherman, 85, of El Dorado, will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, May 30, at Elmwood Cemetery in Augusta.
Mrs. Smitherman passed away Jan. 21, 2005.
Carlson Funeral Home of El Dorado is in charge of the arrangements.
Roger L. Karnahan
Roger L. Karnahan, 51, Augusta, passed away Saturday, May 28, 2005.
Memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 1
at Chapel Hill Fellowship in Wichita.
Mr. Karnahan was born in Laramie, Wyo. on Feb. 16, 1954, the son of Robert and Joyce (Leach) Karnahan. He worked as chief engineer at Cohen-Esrey and formerly at Pizza Hut, Inc.
On July 28, 1978, he married Mary Ann Epperson in Haysville, she survives.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by: daughters, Amanda Karnahan, Robin Cheslic and her husband, Chad, all of Augusta;
mother, Joyce Karnahan of Augusta; brother, Mike Karnahan and wife, Carol of El Dorado; nephew, Todd Karnahan.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert.
Memorials to Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, 555 N. Woodlawn, Wichita, 67207.
Arrangements under the direction of Headley Funeral Chapel of Augusta.
