Linda F. Middleton
Linda F. Middleton, 60, of Augusta, passed away Monday, July 11, 2005.
Viewing will be 1-8 p.m. Thursday, July 14, with family to greet friends from 7-8 p.m. at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta.
Her funeral serv-ices will be 10 a.m. Friday, July 15,
2005, at First Baptist Church, Augusta. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta.
Lunch reception to follow interment at 401 Roosevelt in Wichita.
Memorials to American Cancer Society are suggested.
Linda was born in Gracemont, Okla., on Nov. 24, 1944. She was the daughter of the late Warren Wilburn and Frieda Jean (Gardner) Cochran.
She worked as a Bid File Administrator for Continental Airlines.
On June 23, 1963 she married Evan Middleton at the Woodlawn Baptist Church in Wichita.
Survivors are her loving husband, Evan, her two children, Amy Middleton of Nashville, TN and Brice Middleton and his wife Gretchen of Magnolia, DE and a grandson, William Evan Middleton.
Everett Ray Tune
Truck driver Everett Ray Tune, 67, formerly of Augusta, passed away Monday, July 11, 2005, in Springfield, Mo.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 16, 2005, at Dunsford Chapel, Augusta. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetary, Augusta.
Mr. Tune was born September 23, 1937 in Mountainview, Mo. to Dewey and Ruth (Davis) Tune.
He was married to Lorna Meadows Dec. 1,1967.
Survivors include wife Lorna, two sons, Edward (Bodie) Luton of Cabool, Mo., and Mike Tune of
Wichita; three daughters, Everetta Tholl, Ruth Ann Daniels and Denise Tharp, all of Wichita; brother James Tune, Wichita; sisters, Sharon K. Dore, Valley Center, and Mary Warden, Fall River, and 10 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son Everett Ray Tune Jr.; daughter Danette Tune; sister Ellen McQuiston; brother Robert Tune.
Local arrangements are by the Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta.
