Dr. Greg Lewis
Greg Lewis, Ph.D., 52, Flower Mound, Texas, formerly of Augusta, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 14, 2005, following a courageous battle with liver cancer.
Interment will be a private service at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 18, in Roselawn Memorial Park in Denton, Texas. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. that afternoon at the Crossroads Bible Church in Flower Mound.
Greg was born on Jan. 5, 1953, to Henry and Erma Lewis in Hutchinson.
He married Barbara Sue Whitener on June 7, 1975. They adopted two children; Nicolas Jon Anthony, age 16, and Kassandra Lucero, age 11.
Greg was a member of Crossroads Bible Church for the past 15 years. He was born again in high school and his love for the Lord Jesus Christ marked his days and all that he did.
He was a clinical psychologist, working in private practice in Lewisville, Texas for many years.
His survivors are: his wife, Barbara; son, Nicolas and daughter, Kassandra, all of Flower Mound; brothers, Denny Lewis and wife, Jeanice of Augusta, Mark Lewis and wife, Cheryl of Potwin; nieces, Stephanie Gerard and husband, Mike of Durango, Colo., Keely Troth and husband, Jason of Queen Creek, Ariz., and Lanie Farr and husband, Chad of Apache Junction, Ariz.; nephews, Anthony Martinez and wife, Julia of Durango, Tony and Mike Lewis of Augusta; many other relatives and friends.
Dr. Lewis’ family has requested that those who wish to make memorial contributions may send them to: The Trust Fund for Dr. Greg Lewis’ Children, c/o Barbara Lewis, Bank One, 1201 W. Main, Lewisville, TX, 75067.
Arrangements are under the direction of Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home of Lewisville, Texas.

Michael J. Lydon, Sr., 79, Augusta, lost his battle with cancer on Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2005. Viewing from 1 to 8
p.m. on Thursday, with family to greet friends from 4 to 6 p.m.; service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 19, all at Headley Funeral Chapel in Augusta.
Mike was born in Chicago, ILL. on Oct. 19, 1925, the son of the late Michael J. and Mary (Fogerty) Lydon. He retired as a mechanical engineer at Boeing Aircraft and P.E.C. He was a decorated World War II and Korean War veteran, as well as an avid model railroader.
He is survived by: his wife of 32 years, Everline; sons. Kelly of Fla., Michael, Jr. of Leon, Brian of Augusta; daughters, Colleen
Brammer of Iowa, Shelia Laramee of Augusta, Sissy Parfrey of Colo., and Lisa Roberts of Tenn.; 11 grandchildren; Tabitha, Kevin, Michael III, Jason, Steven, Brian, Melissa, Matthew, Amy, April and Jacob; two great-grandchildren.
Memorials to Faith Home Health & Hospice, 7804 E. Funston, Wichita, 67207.
Arrangements are under the direction of Headley Funeral Chapel of Augusta.
