Dewey D. Williams
Dewey D. Williams, 75, San Antonio, Texas, retired from Western Company, U.S. Marine Corps veteran and formerly of Augusta, passed away on Nov. 15, 2005.
Graveside service will be held at 9:15 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 18, at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio.
His survivors include: wife, Margie (Landon) Williams of San Antonio; brother, Harold Williams of Winfield; sister, Kathleen Ordway of Crossville, Texas;
children, Wendy Botham of Jordan, Karen Woodruff of Alba, Texas, Margaret Zucco of San Antonio, Steve Harrod of Plano, Texas, and David Harrod of Dallas, Texas; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by; his parents, Fred and Alva Williams and his sister, Tressie Stone.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Shearer Hills Baptist Church, Heartland Hospice or any charity of choice.
Funeral Caring USA of San Antonio, Texas has charge of the arrangements.
Mabel L. Coon
Mabel L. Coon, 86, Augusta, retired secretary for Rieger Medical Supply, passed away on Friday, Nov. 18, 2005.
A funeral service was held this morning at the Augusta First Christian church. Burial followed at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Winfield.
Her survivors are: son, Gary W. Coon of Burrton; daughter, Joann Wallace of Augusta; brothers,
Lawrence Biddle, Raymond Biddle, both of Winfield, and Ralph Biddle of Tecumseh; sister, Shirley Rush of Winfield; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, Jasper; one brother and two sisters.
Memorials may be made to First Christian Church, 1600 State St., Augusta, 67010.

Rosalio Charles Garcia
Rosalio Charles Garcia, 93, Augusta, passed away on Friday, Nov. 18, 2005.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 23, at St. James Catholic Church in Augusta.
He was also a World War II Army veteran.
He worked as an expeditor at Consolidated Freightways and was an employee of Santa Fe Railway.
On May 1, 1948, he married Mary J. (Cabrales), she survives.
In addition to his wife, he is also survived by: daughter, Anita Melton and her husband, Larry of Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.; grandchildren, Michael and Jennifer Melton; greatgrandchildren, Alex Melton, Amber Culwell and Jacob
Melton.
Memorials may go to St. James Catholic Church.

Gerald P. Walters, 68, Wichita, retired Vulcan Chemicals employee, father and father-in-law of Stacie and Ken Seiwert of Augusta, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 17, 2005.
Funeral service was held this morning at Resthaven Mortuary in Wichita.
Other survivors include: his wife, LuAnn; daughter, Valerie Seiwert of Wichita; son, Kevin Walters of Oklahoma City, Okla.; eight grandchildren; four greatgrandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be sent to Grace Baptist Church, 1414 W. Pawnee, Wichita, 67213.

Charles “Chuck” McCune, 75, Rose Hill, retired farmer and Beechcraft employee, died on Saturday, Nov. 19, 2005.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Rose Hill United Methodist Church.
Visitation from 3 to 8 p.m. tomorrow and Thursday at Smith Mortuary in Derby.
His survivors include: children, Bradley McCune
of Rose Hill, Deborah Bong of Wichita, Shelley May of Wichita; brothers, Loren McCune of Douglass and Jack McCune of Rose Hill; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; companion, Erlena Wheeler.
He was preceded in death by: his wife, Juanita Arlene (Polk) McCune and sister, Hilma Ingold.
Memorials have been established with Rose Hill United Methodist Church and Rose Hill Senior Center, and may be sent in care of Smith Mortuary in Derby.

Former Augustan James Robert “Bob” Leisure, 84, McPherson, retired machinist, died on Monday, Nov. 21,2005.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 26, at Prairie Rose Funeral Home, Williams Chapel in Anthony. Interment will be at Manchester Cemetery in Manchester, Okla.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to service time on Saturday.
His survivors are: daughters, Linda Pfannenstiel of Wichita and Donna Hatter of El
Dorado; six grandchildren; 16 great-grandchil dren.
Memorials to Kansas Humane Society or McPherson County Humane Society.
