Chuck Unrein

Chuck Unrein, 60, Wichita, owner of Chuck’s Mobile Home Service, brother and brother-in-law of Gerald and Carol Unrein of Augusta, died on Sunday, Dec. 4, 2005.
Rosary at 7 p.m. this evening; Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Wednesday, both at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Schulte. Burial will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery.
Other survivors include: wife, Patricia; sons, Chris and Cory of Wichita; step daughters, Gay Elaine Estes of Arlington, Peggy Rebecca Davis of Burk Burnett, Texas; brothers, Duevane and Lester of Wichita, Leroy of Clearwater and Allen Jr. of Rose Hill; sisters, Luella McBride of Beatrice, Neb. and Linda Leach of Wichita; nine grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandchildren, Even and Harrison.
A memorial has been established with Midian Shrine Plane of Mercy, 130 N. Topeka, Wichita, 67201.
Resthaven Mortuary of Wichita has charge of the arrangements.

Lillian Ruth Dixon

Lillian Ruth Dixon, 84, Centralia, Wash., formerly of Neodesha and Augusta, passed away on Nov. 2, 2005.
Cremation has taken place and inurnment will be at a later date in the Neodesha Cemetery.
She was united in marriage to William Lloyd Dixon on April 19, 1940, in Augusta.
Other survivors include: children, Deon Winsel and Steve Dixon, both of Centralia, Wash.; sister, Dorothy Carlson of Tucson, Ariz.; cousins, Harriett Smith, Erma Bryan and Ron Bryan, all of Augusta.

Lorraine C. Lipscomb

Lorraine C. Lipscomb, 92, Augusta, passed away on Monday, Dec. 5, 2005.
Service arrangements were pending this morning with Headley Funeral Chapel of Augusta.

Lorraine C. Lipscomb, 92, Augusta, homemaker, passed away on Monday, Dec. 5, 2005.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 9, at Christ Lutheran Church in Augusta. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Augusta.
Visitation from 1 to 8 p.m., with family to greet friends from 4 to 5 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 8, at Headley Funeral Chapel in Augusta.
Lorraine was born in McComb, ILL. on Nov. 22,
1913, the daughter of Rexford and Hazel (Seaton) Hyde. On June 18, 1932 she married John Lipscomb in Wellington. He survives.
Other survivors are: daughter, Vicki Hagen and her husband, Jerry of Tucson, Ariz.; granddaughters, Joni Quantrille of Adelanto, Calif, and Kristi Hagen of Las Vegas, Nev.; five great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may go to Christ Lutheran Church.
Arrangements are under the direction of Headley Funeral Chapel of Augusta.

Eleanor Crowder

Eleanor Crowder, 81, Augusta, went home to meet her heavenly father on Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2005.
Visitation from 1 to 8 p.m., with family to greet friends from 7 to 8 p.m. on Thursday and funeral service at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 9, all at Headley Funeral Chapel in Augusta.
Her survivors include: daughter, Darlene and husband, Eldon Klassen; son, Dr. Richard and wife, Debbi Crowder of Wichita; daughter, Dawn Marie and husband, Larry McGlasson of Topeka; nine grandchildren
and 12 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Betty Hutter, Donna Marshall, Mary Eastin and one brother, Ed Wilson, all of Augusta; former husband, Dr. H.D. (Don) Crowder of Wichita.
She was preceded in death by: one son, Michael Crowder; two grandsons, Chad Crowder and Matt Crowder; one sister, Fern Pray and one brother, Carl Smith.
Eleanor was a member of the First Christian Church of Augusta and memorials may be made to the church.
Headley Funeral Chapel of Augusta has direction of the arrangements.

Eldon Brand

Eldon Brand, 74, Augusta, retired roofer, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 11, 2005.
There will be no service.
His survivors include: wife, Barbara; daughters, Ruthie Brand and Serina Griffith, all of Augusta; brothers, Frank of Alamo, Calif., Richard of Alton, ILL., Kenneth of Kearney, Neb., Robert of Chandler, Ariz., and Harold of Norfolk,Va.; sisters, Ruthie Little of Rock Mountain, N.C., Arleen Spencer of Lexington, Neb., Patty Hillyer of Payton, Colo., and Donna Cusick of Littleton, Colo.; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
Memorials to Eldon Brand Memorial Fund.
