Clara Lou Carson

Clara Lou Carson, 62, Augusta, professional dog groomer, died on Saturday, Dec. 24, 2005.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 28, at Carlsop Funeral Home in El Dorado. Interment will follow in Towanda Cemetery.
Her survivors are: husband, Jerry L. Carson of the home; sons, Clint of Pasadena, Texas and Gary Carson of Augusta; daughter, Kathy Wolf of Towanda; her parents, Lee and Ruby McNair of Towanda; step sister, Audrey Larsen of Andover; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
Memorials in Clara’s memory may go to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, and may be left at Carlson Funeral Home in El Dorado.

Florence Esther Danler

Florence Esther Danler, 89, Kingman, retired nurses assistant, mother of John Danler of Augusta, died on Friday, Dec. 23, 2005.
Mass of Christian Burial was held this morning at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Kingman. Burial followed at Walnut Hill Cemetery in Kingman.
Other survivors include: sons, Larry of Pinedale, Ariz. and Leo of Oxford; daughters, Mary Turner of Kansas City, Mo., Theresa Couch of Wichita, and Cecilia Andrus of Newton; sister, Mary Tunney of Kingman; 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by: her husband Ignatius Danler; son, Joseph; and brothers,
Joseph, Francis, and Clarence.
Memorials may be made with the St. Patrick Grade School in care of Livingston Funeral Home, 1830 N. Main, Kingman, 67068.

Bill J. Keys

Bill J. Keys, 59, Wichita, Starkey Inc. employee, died on Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2005.
Visitation until 8 p.m. this evening, with family receiving from 6 to 8 p.m.; funeral service at 9:30 a.m. tomorrow morning, both at Lakeview Funeral Home in Wichita.
His survivors include: sisters, Judy Reschke of Andover, formerly of Augusta, Betty Cox of Eureka, Mary Reschke of Rose Hill; brothers, John Keys and Tom Keys, both of Wichita.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Marie Keys.
Memorial established with Starkey, Inc.
Lakeview Funeral Home of Wichita has charge of the arrangements.

Mildred Hoffman

Mildred Hoffman, 93, Wichita, homemaker and Red Cross volunteer for 25 years, mother of Eleanor Hilton of Augusta, died on Saturday, Dec. 24, 2005.
Funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 29, at Resthaven Mortuary Chapel in Wichita.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry, three brothers and a sister.
Memorials may go to Calvary Presbyterian Church and Lakepoint Nursing Center in Augusta.
Resthaven Mortuary of Wichita is handling the arrangements.

Myrtle H. Richardson

Myrtle H. Richardson, 98, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 25, 2005.
Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 28, at the Augusta Church of Christ.
Visitation will be until 8 p.m. this evening at Headley Funeral Chapel in Augusta.
Myrtle was born on July 2, 1902 in Steamburg, Ohio, the daughter of Thomas and Ada Blanche (Whitecotton) Heinselman.
She was an abstractor, former probate judge, and 4-H community and project leader. She was an author as well, writing books of Edwards County history.
Her survivors include: daughter, Nancy Ridgway and husband, Don of Augusta; sister, Iva Earle of McMinnville, Tenn.; grandchildren, Donnie Ridgway and wife, Paula, Bill Ridgway, Merle Laham and husband, Pat, all of Augusta, Ann Swendson and husband, Todd of Burlington, Mary Gardner and her husband, Nathan, and Stacey Laham; great grandchildren, Meghan Swogger, Patti Ballinger, Daniel Swendson, Denver Ridgway, Zachary and Adrianna Gardener and Mandy Laham; great-greatgrandchild, Owen Swogger.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Russell Heinselman and sisters, Mary Bourquin, Agnes Loney, and Alice Doulhit.
Memorial donations may be made to the Church of Christ African Missions or Maude Carpenter Childrens
Center.
Arrangements are under the direction of Headley Funeral Chapel of Augusta.

Jack Hoefgen

Jack Hoefgen, 84, Augusta, passed away on Monday, Dec. 26, 2005.
Service arrangements were pending this morning with Headley Funeral Chapel of Augusta.
