Billy D. McDaniel

Billy D. McDaniel, 78, Augusta, retired Gates Learjet plant manager, died on Sunday, Jan. 8, 2006.
His funeral service will be held at 1 p.m.Wednesday, Jan. 11, at Resthaven Mortuary Chapel in
Wichita.
His survivors include: son, Gary Dean McDaniel of Lansing; daughters, Marsha Jenkins of Augusta, Connie Lane of Leon, and Virginia Gard of Chatham, ILL.; brother, E.J. McDaniel of West Plains, Mo.; sister, Imogene Seley of Thomasville, Mo.; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Eunice.
Arrangements under the direction of Resthaven Mortuary of Wichita.
Olive Jane Wilkerson
Olive Jane Wilkerson, 79, Wichita, retired Williams Hardware bookkeeper, sister of Kay Jackson of Augusta, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2006.
Funeral service was held this afternoon at West Heights United Methodist Church.
Other survivors are: son, Roger Wilkerson; daughters, Brenda Born, Andrea Newlin; brothers, Gary Sebbert and Bob Sebbert; sisters, Shirley Breiner and Arlys Sakata; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Wilkerson.
Memorials established with West Heights United Methodist Church, 745 N. Westlink, Wichita, 67212, and Faith Home Health and Hospice, LLC, 7804 E. Funston, Wichita, 67207.
Resthaven Mortuary of
Wichita handled the arrangements.

Arlyn A. Holler

Arlyn A. Holler, 64, Haysville, retired J.C. Penney sales associate, passed away on Friday, Jan. 6, 2006.
His funeral service was held this morning at the First Baptist Church in Haysville.
His survivors include: wife, Shirley; mother, Marjorie of Protection; son, Scott of Kansas City, Kan.; daughters, Teresa of Chetopa and Erin Mangrum of Jonesboro, Ark.; step sons, Donnie Simpson of Leawood, Ron (Kristy) Simpson of Augusta, and Tom Simpson of Thorton, Colo.; brother, Jerry Holler of Protection; sister, Donna James of Haysville, and twin sister, Arlys Kraus of Phoenix, Ariz.; two grandchildren.
Memorials to First Baptist Church of Haysville.
Arrangements were under the direction Broadway Mortuary Wichita.

Leland R. Wells

Leland R. Wells, Wichita, retired tool and die jig builder for Boeing Wichita, brother of Vernon Wells of Augusta, died on Thursday, Jan. 5, 2006.
Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, at 47th Street Church of Christ in Wichita.
Other survivors are: sisters, Ann Ryan of Pueblo, Colo, and Alberta Haga of Westcliff, Colo.
Memorials established with Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice and 47th Street Church of Christ.
Resthaven Mortuary has charge of the service arrangements.

Stong, Ruby Swearengin, 90, passed away Sunday, January 15, 2006. Service 10:00 A.M. Wednesday Countryside Christian Church. Preceded in death by husband, Vern Stong; son, Chester Stong; grandchildren, Audrey & Cindy; brother, Jack Owens and sister-in-law, Irma.
Survivors: son, ,Neal Stong; daughter, Jan Stong; sister, Bonnie I. Reed, all of Wichita:
grandsons, Chris & Jon; granddaughter, Denise (Tom) Milligan; daughter-in-law, Jane; niece, Marty Beavers; great-grandson, Sean Myers. Ruby was born March 31, 1915 in Bruner, MO.
She excelled in sales with Fine Arts and Saladmaster Corp.. Ruby began the Sew & So Club with women in Plainview during the 1940's, with members becoming lifelong friends. Ruby was well known for her homemade bread and baked goods. She was a charter member of Woodlawn Christian Church, now known as Countryside Christian Church.
Ruby was tenderly and graciously -cared for during the last three years by the Life Care Staff of Wichita.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established with Countryside Christian Church
