Jason Allen Johnson
Jason Allen Johnson, 28, loving husband, father and son of Rose Hill, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 14, 2006.
Mass at 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 19, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 2300 E. Meadowlark, Derby.
Visitation 10 a.m. until Rosary at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, at Headley Funeral Chapel in Augusta.
Jason was born in Morrison, ILL., on April 25, 1977, the son of Richard and Michelle (Conley) Johnson.
He worked as a hand form operator at D-J Engineering and as a volunteer firefighter for Butler County District 3 - Rose Hill.
served in the United States Army, as well. On July 3, 2000, he married Jennifer Bomanin in Wichita.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by: sons, Trevor Johnson of Rose Hill and Kyle Kwater, Port Richey, Fla.; a daughter, Jacinda Kwater of Port Richey, Fla.; parents, Richard and Michelle Johnson; brother, Sean Johnson; grandparents, David and Mary Lou Johnson; aunt, Cathy and Rod Eversoll; uncle, Ron and Paula Johnson, all of Clinton, Iowa; mother-in-law, Rebecca Rierson; sister-in-law, Amanda Rierson; grandparents-in-law, Edward and Gwendolyn Burtyard, all of Rose1 Hill;-five cousins and several great-aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joe and Gladys Conley and greatgrandmother, Mary Conley, great-grandmother, Lou, and great-grandmother, Lillian Johnson.
Memorials to the Trevor Johnson Fund in memory of Jason Johnson.
Arrangements are under the direction of Headley Funeral Chapel in Augusta.
Walter Eugene Maier
Walter Eugene Maier, 78, Duncan, Okla., father and father-in-law of Jerry and Brenda Maier of Augusta, died on Sunday, Jan. 15, 2006.
Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 18, at Assumption Catholic Church in Duncan. Interment will follow at Duncan City Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 17, at Don Grantham Funeral Home in Duncan.
He was born on May 9, 1927 in Graham County to John A. and Alvena (Henning) Maier. He married Aldine Bergkamp on July 11,1953, in Fowler.
He was a veteran of World War II serving in the United States Army.
He worked for Skelly Oil Company, and as a farmer and a realtor. He was a member of the Assumption Catholic Church, the American Legion, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was also an avid golfer.
Other survivors include: his wife, Aldine of the home;
daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Bill Blanton of Marlow, Okla.; sons and daughters-in-law, David and Pam Maier of Newark, Del., Robert and Susan Maier of Liberal; sisters, Betty Ferrante of Thousand Oaks, Calif, and Shirley Smith of Salt Lake City, Utah; brother, John E. Maier of Manhattan; nine grandchil-dren, Jeremy Hall, Chris ^ Maier, John Maier, Cameron Maier, Addison Maier, Logan . Maier, Heather Baker, ^ Hanna Maier and Maggie x Maier; great-grandson, > Dawson Baker. 7^
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial contributions may be made to Chisholm Trail Hospice or the Assumption Catholic Church Building Fund in Duncan.

brance will be held at 10 . a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 1, at the First United Methodist Church in Augusta.
His survivors include: wife of 49 years, Donna; son, Doug Ruple of Joplin, Mo.; daughters and sons-in-" law, Doreen and Ed Kittle of Augusta, Diane and
Larry Kittle of RAF Lakenheath, England; brother, Kent Ruple of Magnolia, Ark.; sister, Lois Winget of Minden, La.; grandchildren, Emily, Melissa (Tom). Matthew, Nathan, Isaac, Adam, and Michael.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Alvis; sisters, Marie and Carolyn.
Memorial donations may go to the Cerebral Palsy Foundation, Route 1, El Dorado, 67042.
