Shirley A. Reinhart

Shirley A. Reinhart, 68, rural El Dorado, passed away on Monday, Jan. 16, 2006.
A celebration of Shirley’s life will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 19, at the Towanda United Methodist Church of Christ. Interment will follow at Walnut Valley Cemetery in El Dorado.
Shirley and her husband, J.D. were the owners and operators of the JD’s Carry Out and the Wrangler Cafe in Towanda. She also worked for Litwins and Farm & Home, both in El Dorado.
Surviving family include: her husband of 53 years, J.D. of the home; three sons, John and wife, Beth Reinhart of Fredericksburg, Va., Mickey and wife, Shirley Reinhart of McPherson, Jerry Reinhart and Patricia Martin of El Dorado; brothers, Acy Kimbro of Miami, Okla, and Don Kimbro of Towanda; sisters, Virginia and husband, Fred Starr of Towanda and Sally Jean Kimbro of Bixby, Okla.; brother-in-law, Harold “Hank” and wife, Ruth Burchard of Towanda; eight grandchildren; one greatgrandchild.
A memorial has been established with the Towanda Historical
Museum. Contributions and condolences may be left with Kirby-Morris Funeral Home in El Dorado.

‘Bill’ Graves

William A. “Bill” Graves, 91, Douglass, retired Cessna employee, died on Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2006.
Service arrangements were pending this morning with Hilyard-Smith Funeral Home in Douglass.

Donald William Kirkpatrick

Donald William “Bill” Kirkpatrick, 54, Weston, Mo., brother and brother-in-law of Karyl and Larry Johnson of Augusta, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 11,2006.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 14, 2006, at Vaughn Funeral Chapel in Weston, Mo. Interment with military honors will be in the Graceland Cemetery in Weston.
Bill was born on March 18, 1951, in El Dorado, the son of Donald E. and Dorothy Nina Jean (Seaburn) Kirkpatrick. He grew up in Leon, Augusta and Wichita, moving to the Kansas City, Mo. area in his early teen years.
After serving in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War, he began his career in law enforcement, serving in the Kansas City, Mo. area as a police officer, as police chief of Gower, Mo., and his last position as a police officer in Weston, Mo. He also owned and operated with his wife, a pharmaceutical delivery business.
His survivors include: his wife, Denise; sons, Donald Jr. of the home, James Stuteville and wife, Gina, Donnie Stuteville and wife, Lori; daughters, Tami Bryan and husband, Mike, Amy Stuteville, all of Kansas City, Mo.; his mother, Dorothy Johnston of Kansas City, Mo.; sisters, Karyl Johnson and husband, Larry, Donna Hickman and husband, Dale, all of Augusta, Dee Regina and husband, Bill of St. Joseph, Mo.; step sisters, Betty Barriner and husband, Tom of Goddard, Donna Holt and husband J.T. of Rockville, Md.; brother, Mark Kirkpatrick and
wife, Brenda of Augusta; step brother, Michael Stuart and wife, Rose of Hernando, Miss.; six grandchildren; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly.
He was preceded in death by: his father; brother, Daryl Kirkpatrick; step mother, Evelyn; step fathers, Fred Duncan and Bob Johnston; and son, Nickolas Kirkpatrick.

Crooks

Stanley L. Crooks, 89, Augusta, passed away this morning.
Arrangements are pending with Headley Funeral Chapel in Augusta.

Tomie L. Trotter

Tomie L. Trotter, 82, Vashon, Wash., retired U.S. Naval Reserve commander, formerly of Augusta, died on Jan. 4, 2006.
A celebration of his life was held on Jan. 15, at the Vashon Island Golf and Country Club. Burial was in the Tahoma National Cemetery.
He was born on March 3, 1923 in Augusta, the son of Lester and Cretia Gilliand Trotter.
His survivors include: his wife, Paula; sons, Tomie Jr. Trotter of Seattle, Larry Trotter of Tacoma, Chris Trotter of Puyallup, Brad Trimmer of Oak Harbor, and Ron Trotter of Auburn; sisters, Della Caputo of Anaheim, Calif., Carolyn Sullivan of Salem, Ore., and Patsy Black of Lake Elsinore, Calif.;
brother, Jim Trotter of Huntington, Calif.; 14 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Bob and Dick Trotter, and a grandson.
