Eugenia J. (Renfro) Press, 54, San Antonio, Texas, school teacher, formerly of rural Augusta, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 19, 2006.
A memorial service was held Saturday, Jan. 21. Interment will be at a later date in Fort Sam Houston
National Cemetery. Eugenia was born on Oct. 7, 1951 in Douglass the daughter of Charles and Joan Renfro. She was a 1969 graduate of Augusta High School.
Her survivors include: husband, Paul; parents, Charles and Joan Renfro of Mulvane; sons, Matthew and wife, Ginger, Ryan and wife, Jessica; brothers, Dennis Renfro and wife, Connie, Morris Renfro and wife, Laurie Scott Renfro and wife, Debra; grandchildren, Jolie Press and Jax Press; numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to Susan B. Komen Foundation, P.O. Box 650309, Dallas, TX, 75265-0309, American Cancer Society, or Cancer Therapy and Research Center, 7979 Wurzbach, Ste. 600, San Antonio, TX, 78229.
Arrangements were under the direction Porter Loring Mortuary North in San Antonio.

Betty Brown, 83, Fall River, mother: of Larry Brown of Augusta, died on Saturday, Jan. 21, 2006.
Her graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 25, at Fredonia City Cemetery.
Other survivors include: daughters, Charmaine Johnson of Lawrence and Linda McCormack of Climax; son, Robert Geib of Topeka.
Arrangements by Timmons Funeral Home in Fredonia.
Mervin Turner
Mervin E. Turner, 74, Wichita, father of Jody Turner of Douglass, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 19, 2006.
Graveside service was held this afternoon at White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
Other survivors are: wife, Doris Turner; son, Randy Turner of Wichita; six grand children.
Downing & Lahey Mortuary East of Wichita handled the arrangements.

Oklahoma City, Okla., died on Friday, Jan. 20, 2006.
Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on
Wednesday, Jan. 25, at the Douglass Cemetery in Douglass.

Kathleen E. O’Neil
Kathleen E. O’Neil, 78, Douglass, retired school teacher, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 2, 2006.
Funeral service was held this afternoon at the First Baptist Church in Douglass.
Her survivors include: her husband, Russell Marvin O’Neil; son, Joe (Patricia) O’Neil of Douglass;
daughter, Judy (Jim) Hatfield of Douglass; brothers, Richard S. Reynolds of Clearwater and Kenneth O. Reynolds of Argonia;
sisters, Barbara Ginest of Clearwater and Molly Frazee of Wellington; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her grandchildren, Ryan Price O’Neil and Dustin Drake O’Neil.
Memorials to the Douglass Senior Center or American Diabetes Association.
Arrangements were under the direction of Headley Funeral Chapel in Augusta.
Sandra Jean Wendt
Sandra Jean Wendt, 59, Leon, Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital nurse, died on Friday, Feb. 3, 2006.
Visitation from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday evening at Carlson Funeral Home in El Dorado.
There will be no service.
Her survivors include: husband, Rick; daughters, Tracey Bastion and Cassy Brooks;
step daughters, Stacey Nichols and Shawna Rae Wendt; brother, Jerry Reynolds; sister, Linda Cole; 10 grandchildren.
Arrangements were handled by Carlson Funeral Home in El Dorado.

Oliver Elliott, 73, El Dorado, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 5, 2006.
Service arrangements were pending this morning with Dunsford Funeral Home in Augusta.
