Frances E. Shaw

Frances E. Shaw, 82, Wichita, homemaker, mother and mother-in-law of George and Sally Shaw of Leon, died on Saturday, March 25, 2006.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, March 29, at Resthaven Mortuary Chapel in Wichita.
Frances was very involved with her church, Olivet Baptist and volunteered at the Good Neighbor Center, and participated
with the Golden Agers Sunday School group.
Other survivors include: son, Steven and wife, Marion Shaw of Noble, Okla.; sisters, Barbara Buxton and Bernice Bams, both of Calif., and Mary England of Wichita; brother, Victor Carter of Ariz.; grandchildren and spouses; Craig and Denise Shaw, Tiffany and Richard Hood, Bryan Shaw, Heather Jo and Doug Miller, Wendy Shaw, Amy and Jeramie Batson; 14 great-grandchildren; special nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert and seven siblings.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may go to Olivet Baptist Church in Wichita.
Arrangements are being handled by Resthaven Mortuary in Wichita.

Edward Nelson Ray

Edward Nelson Ray, 73 Augusta, passed away on Sunday, March 26, 2006.
Funeral service is scheduled at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 29, at Hillside Funeral Chapel in Augusta, with Rev. Curtis Cadenhead officiat- ing. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery in Augusta.
He was born on March 18, 1933 in New Franklin, Mo., the son of Ernest and Mamie (Carol) Ray.
He served his country as a Master Sgt. in the United States Air Force for over 20 years.
His survivors include: sons and daughters-in-law, Ernest and Veronica Ray of
Winfield, Edward and Vandy Ray of Burlington, and Floyd and Beverly Ray of Nashville, Tenn.;
daughters and sons-in-law, Angela and Randy Cundell of Winfield, Quintina and Walter Underwood of Augusta;
sister, Selma Vollmer of Mo.; grandchildren, Tyson, Mike, Josh, Nick, Zach, Andrew, Randy, Jr., Adam, Vicki, Amber, Candace, Jim, Gerald, Cassandra, Chris, Karen, and Marc; eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Rachel Ray; two brothers and two sisters.
Memorials are suggested to the Augusta First United Methodist Church.
Hillside Funeral Home in Augusta is in charge of the arrangements.

Dorothy H. Binter, 82, Augusta, died Sunday, April 2, 2006.
Service arrangements were pending this morning with Headley Funeral Chapel in Augusta.

William Peter Leritz, 77, Augusta, died on Sunday, April 2, 2006.
Arrangements were pending this morning with Headley Funeral Chapel in Augusta.

Marion Ray Boring

Marion Ray Boring, 73, Wickcliffe, Ohio, father of Deborah R. Michalski of Augusta, passed away on Saturday, April 1, 2006.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home in Willoughby, Ohio.
Burial will be in Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chesterland, Ohio.
Mr. Boring served in the United States Army as a demolition specialist with the Big Red One, during the Korean War.
He was a 37 year employee of General Electric Willoughby Quartz Plant, retiring in 1987.
Other survivors include: daughter, Donna S. Marcinkus of Mentor, Ohio; son, Alan A. Boring of Eastlake, Ohio;
sisters, Gladys Caldwell and Geraldine Deemer, both of New Florence; 11 grandchildren; lifetime friend, Lloyd Huston.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth A. (Liptak) Boring.
Arrangements are under the direction of McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home in Willoughby, Ohio.
