Dunnam

Barbara Jo Dunnam, 75, Augusta, homemaker, died on Tuesday, March 28, 2006.
Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, March 31, at the Augusta First Baptist Church.
Her survivors include: husband, Charles of the home; daughters, Teresa (Jim) Turner of Augusta, Ronda (Don) Lawrence of Belle Plaine,
Barbara Ann Hutka of Haysville; son, Johnny (Carol) Novak of Augusta; seven grandchildren, Stacy (Kirk) Anderson, Christopher (Renee) Novak, Alan Novak, Misty (Travis) Barkus, Donavan Lawrence,
Cherie Lawrence, and Johnny Clark; three grand children, Colton Anderson, Jace Novak, and Mason Anderson; brother, Robert Murphy of El Dorado.
Memorials may go to American Heart Association.
Arrangements are under the direction of Dunsford Funeral Home in Augusta.

Charles G. Allen

Charles G. Allen, 66, Andover, International Cold Storage employee, died on Tuesday, March 28, 2006.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. this evening; funeral service at 10 a.m. on Friday, both at Dunsford
Funeral Home in Augusta. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery in Augusta.
He was born on Jan. 29, 1940, in Caraway, Ark., the son of Charles and Ester (Hart) Allen.
Survivors include: wife, Belinda Allen of the home; sons, Justin R. (Linda) Adams, Kevin Allen, all of Towanda,
Jerod Allen of Kansas City, Kans., and Clinton Allen of Andover; daughter, Michelle Bachman of Va.;
sisters, Florence Knowles of Kansas City, Ks. and Charlene Hansen of Wichita; 14 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Crystal G. Allen and sister, Imogene Schul.
Memorials may go to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice.
Arrangements are being handled by Dunsford Funeral Home in Augusta.

Robert Peterson

Robert Peterson, 82, Douglass, passed away on Wednesday, March 29, 2006.
Service arrangements were pending this morning with Affinity Mortuary in Wichita.

Raymond Dontay Newlon-Berry

Raymond Dontay (Navarro) Newlon-Berry, 27, heavy equipment operator, Emporia, formerly of Augusta, died on Tuesday, March 28, 2006.
Funeral service was held today at Koup Family Funeral Home in Eureka.
His survivors include: mother and companion, Kerri and James;
step father and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Steve Berry; father, Vincent; brothers, Tyler, Vinny, and Tinero; sisters, Tiffany and Stephanie; grandparents, Herb and RaJeana and Lorraine.
He was preceded in death by grandmother, Karen and grandfather, Leon.
Arrangements by Koup Family Funeral Home in Eureka.

Robert G. “Bus” Thomas

Robert G. “Bus” Thomas, 74, Douglass, retired IGA meat cutter, died on Thursday, March 30, 2006.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, April 4, at the First Baptist Church in Douglass.
His survivors are: wife, Shirley; sons, Robert, Jr. of Dodge City, and Chris of El Dorado; daughters, Kathy Koepcke of Douglass, Cindy Abdallah of Augusta; brothers, John of Oklahoma City and Floyd of Euless, Texas; sisters, Hazel Bonar of Glenrock, Wyo., Helen Meyer and Bonnie Sommers of Augusta, Lida Wallace and Betty Whiteside of Potwin, Doris Hazen of Arkansas City; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
Memorials to First Baptist Church and The American Heart Association.
Arrangements handled by Smith Family Mortuary of Douglass.
