Charles G. Allen

Charles G. Allen, 66, Andover, International Cold Storage employee, died on Tuesday, March 28, 2006.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. this evening; funeral service at 10 a.m. on Friday, both at Dunsford Funeral Home in Augusta.
Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery in Augusta.
He was born on Jan. 29, 1940, in Caraway, Ark., the son of Charles and Ester (Hart) Allen.
Survivors include: wife, Belinda Allen of the home; sons, Justin R. (Linda) Adams, Kevin Allen, all of Towanda,
Jerod Allen of Kansas City, Kan., and Clinton Allen of Andover; daughter, Michelle Bachman of Va.;
sisters, Florence Knowles of Kansas City, Ks. and Charlene Hansen of Wichita; 14 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Crystal G. Allen and sister, Imogene Schul.
Memorials may go to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice.
Arrangements are being handled by Dunsford Funeral Home in Augusta.

Charles W. Huckabee, Jr.

Charles W. Huckabee, Jr., 74, Rose Hill, retired tooling crew chief for Raytheon Aircraft, passed away on Wednesday, March 29, 2006.
Visitation 1 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, April 2; funeral service at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, April 3, both at Dunsford Funeral Home in Augusta.
Burial will be in Andover Cemetery.
He was born on April 16, 1931 in Tulsa, Okla., the son of Charles Wesley and Lula Mae (Seeman) Huckabee, Sr.
Survivors include: daughters, Zandra Houchin of Augusta and Judy (Ray) LaRoche of Dodge City; sons, Carl Huckabee of
Andover, Mark (Rhonda) Huckabee and Phillip (Jan) Huckabee, all of Leon; sisters, Wanda Baker and Patricia (Rick) Evans all of Wichita;
10 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; his wife, Josephine M. Huckabee; daughter, Valerie Huckabee; and grandson, Quinten Paul Jones.
Memorials may go to American Diabetes Association.
Arrangements are under the direction of Dunsford Funeral Home in Augusta.

Kenneth B. Lord

Kenneth B. Lord, 68, Newton, retired from Santa Fe Railroad, formerly of Augusta, died on Tuesday, March 28, 2006.
Funeral service was held today at the First Christian Church in Newton. Burial was in Newton’s Greenwood Cemetery.
His survivors include wife, Cheryl of the home; sons, Robert of Tulsa, Richard of Foyil, Okla, and Kenneth of Newton;
daughters, Sherri Weldon of Kansas City, Kan. and Sabrina Wassail of Sedgwick; 20 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Memorials have been established with the Kenneth Lord Memorial Fund in care of Broadway Colonial Funeral Home in Newton.

Newlon-Berry

Raymond Newlon-Berry, 27, Emporia, formerly of Augusta, died Tuesday, March 28.
Service arrangements are pending with Koup Family Funeral Home in Eureka.
