Binter

Dorothy H. Binter, 82, Augusta, retired assistant manager from The Fabric Shop in Wichita, passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2006.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, April 5, at Headley Funeral Chapel in Augusta. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery in Wichita.
Mrs. Binter was born on May, 7, 1923, in Leon, the daughter of Oakley E. and Agnes Marie (Barrett) Hurlburt. In October, 1945, she married Dr. Paul A. Binter in Chillicothe, Mo. He preceded her in death in 1958. A brother, Jerry Hurlburt preceded her in death as well.
She is survived by: sons, Joseph P. Binter and his wife, Karen Mills, and Stephen J. Binter, all of Denver, Colo.; daughter, Nancy M. Binter; brothers, Robert L Hurlburt and his wife, Garnett of El Dorado, John E. Hurlburt and his wife, Ramona of Andover; sisters, Kathryn M. Siegrist and her husband, Richard of Rose Hill, Eloise C. Day and her husband, Dr. Thomas of Augusta; granddaughter, Ashley O. Binter of Los Gatos, Calif.; grandson, James C. Freeman of Austin, Texas.
Memorials to Spiritual Life Center of Wichita.
Arrangements are under the direction of Headley Funeral Chapel in Augusta.

William P.
“Bill” Leritz

William P. “Bill” Leritz, 77, Augusta, passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2006.
Viewing from 3 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday and from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, at Headley Funeral Chapel in Augusta.
Rosary at 7:30 p.m. Thursday; Mass at 10 a.m. on Friday, April 7, both at St. James Catholic Church in Augusta. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery, Augusta.
Bill was born in Walnut, Kan., on April 21, 1928, the son of Ralph Cornelius and Lyda Ann (Yostmeyer) Leritz.
On March 8, 1947, he married Norma Wilson. He retired as a truck driver from Knebler Construction after 48 years.
His survivors include: wife, Norma; sons, Bill Leritz and wife, Judy of Benton and Jeff Leritz of Wichita; daughter, Jeannine Coats and husband, Tom of Glen Allen, Va., and Marilyn Leritz of Augusta;
brothers, Lawrence Leritz of Romeo, Mich, and Bob Leritz of Stockton, Mo.; sisters, Elsie Williams of Pittsburg, Pauline Ward of Augusta, Frances Lathrop of Belton, Mo., and Joan Lathrop of Texarkana, Ark.; granddaughter, Melinda Leritz and grandson, Zach Leritz, both of Las Vegas, Nev.; former daughter-in-law, Janel Malcom; step grandsons, Justin Jameson of Lawrence, and Jake and Jesse Jameson of Benton.
He was preceded in death by brothers, R.C. and Joe, and a sister, Ruth Leritz.
Memorials to St. James Catholic Church Building Fund or American Cancer Society.
Headley Funeral Chapel in Augusta is handling the arrangements.

C. W. “Bill” Lewis, Jr.

C.W. “Bill” Lewis, Jr. of Andover, died on Monday, April 3, 2006.
Service arrangements were pending this morning with Headley Funeral Chapel in Augusta.

Richard “Bob” Barry

Richard “Bob” Barry, 83, Douglass, retired Union Pacific agent, passed away on Monday, May 8, 2006.
Funeral service will be announced at a later date.
His survivors include: children, Sharon (Ken) Berry, Penny (Mike) Ribble-Nelson, John (Karen) Barry; 10 grandchildren; 20 greatgrandchildren.
Arrangements are under the direction of Smith Mortuary in Derby.

David A. Marlow

David A. Marlow, 66, Augusta, retired truck driver, passed away Monday, April 3, 2006.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 6, at Hillside Funeral Home in Augusta. Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. on Friday, April 7, at Andover Cemetery.
His survivors include: son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Mia Marlow of Paola; daughter and son-in-law, Roxanne and Mike Mills of Wichita; mother, Elizabeth Marlow of Augusta; brothers, Lawrence of Augusta, Bill of Redfield of Iowa, and Tom of Wichita; sisters, Betty Poore of Fall River, Joyce Marlow-Toothman of Augusta, and Cheryl Yeubanks of Sylvia; five grandchildren; two greatgrandchildren.
He was preceded in death by: his father, Cleo Marlow; sisters, Mary Watson and Vickie Cook; brothers, Harold and Dennis.
Memorials are suggested to the Midian Shrine Plane of Mercy Fund in Wichita.
Arrangements are under the direction of Hillside Funeral Home in Augusta.

C.W. “Bill” Lewis, Jr., 77, Andover, retired Beech Aircraft Corp. tool design supervisor, died on Monday, April 3, 2006.
Viewing from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, at Headley Funeral Chapel in Augusta.
Rosary at 7 p.m. on Friday and Mass at 10 a.m. on Saturday, at St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church in Andover.
He is survived by: his wife, Marion; his children and their spouses, Constance and Bill Little of Wichita, Bill and Alice Lewis of Wellington,
Teresa Hye of Bartlesville, Okla., Michelle and Roy Norris of League City, Texas;
seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sister, Alene Folley of Wichita.
