Dorothy L. Dickinson
Dorothy L. Dickinson, 88, Augusta, retired Augusta High School cook, passed away on Friday, April 7, 2006.
Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, at Elmwood Cemetery in Augusta.
Visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. this evening at Hillside Funeral Home in Augusta.
Her survivors include: sons, Darwin of Augusta and Kenneth of Lyons; two grandchildren; three greatgrandchildren.
Memorials may be given to Total Care Hospice, 250 W. Douglas, Wichita, 67202.
Hillside Funeral Home in Augusta is handling the arrangements.
Virginia M. Lassmann
Virginia M. Lassmann, 85, Augusta, homemaker, died on Saturday, April 8, 2006.
Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 11, at Christ Lutheran Church in Augusta.
Visitation until 8 p.m. this evening at Headley Funeral Chapel in Augusta.
Mrs. Lassmann was born in Cheney on Aug. 18, 1920, the daughter of Thomas M. and Nellie B. (Hawkins) Garnett. On Aug. 17, 1940, she married Clyde V. Lassmann. He preceded her in death in 1986. An infant son preceded her in death as well.
She is survived by: sons, Frank, Fred and his wife, Kathy of Augusta; grand-
daughter, Angelic Lassmann Morgan and her husband, Brad; great-grandchildren, Jacob and Lauren, all of Arlington, Texas; sisters, Thelma Futhey and Betty Rose Womack, of Rose Hill, Erma Lee Brown of Wichita; brother, Billy Garnett of Coffeyville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, 347 S. Laura, Wichita, 67211.
Arrangements are under the direction of Headley Funeral Chapel in Augusta.

Linda Judy Hill, 50, Douglass, died on Wednesday, April 5, 2006.
Funeral service was held this morning in Concordia.
Survivors are: husband, James “Jim” of Douglass; sister, Mary Kathryn; daughter, Elizabeth
Schmeck; sons, Gerald and Willie Schmeck; grandchild, Felicidee Schmeck, all of Ore.

Rozetta A. Benjamin
Rozetta A. Benjamin, 93, Wichita, mother of Joyce E. Gray of Rural Augusta, died on Saturday, April 8, 2006.
Viewing from 1 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, both at DeVorss Flanagan-Hunt Mortuary Chapel in Wichita.
Other survivors include: son, Carlos G. Benjamin, Sr. of Wichita; daughter, Rosanne Cox of Grand Prairie, Texas; 15 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grand-children; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by: husband, Ernest N. Benjamin; eight siblings and one great-grandson.

Robert W. Ferguson, 56, Wichita, retired Raytheon planner, father of Tracy Ferguson of Augusta, died on Monday, May 8, 2006.
Visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday; funeral service at 1 p.m. Friday, both at Old Mission Mortuary in Wichita.
Other survivors include: son, Jason (Deena) Ferguson of Wichita; mother, Gertrude Ferguson of El Dorado; sister, Sue (Terry) Dodd of Wichita.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.

Sonny O. Standifer, 63, Wichita, CDI Aeronautical Design Engineer, father and father-in-law of Dina and Tim Collins of Augusta passed away on Monday, April 10, 2006.
Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 13, at St. Alban’s Episcopal Church.
Other survivors are: wife, Carolyn of the home; daughters, Brandy Standifer of Bel Aire, Dawn Ramey of Andover, and Lisa Mentzer of Chillicothe, Mo.; sisters, Shirley Nelson and Barbara Carroll, both of Anthony; brother, Gary Standifer of Kansas City, Mo.; seven grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 1653, Topeka, 66601-9865.
