Dorothy Joanne Patrick

Dorothy Joanne Patrick, 72, Augusta, passed away on Tuesday, July 4, 2006.
Joanne was born in Benton on Jan. 4, 1934, the daughter of Merton Phillip and Olive Lucille (Bloir) Hill.
She is survived by her children; Steven Patrick, Glenda Margers, Jackie Gates, and Deanna Suarez; brother, Leroy Hill; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Harold Elbridge Kirkpatrick

Harold Elbridge Kirkpatrick, 91, Augusta, died on Wednesday, July 5, 2006, at Lakepoint Nursing Center in Augusta.
He was a retired Beech Aircraft employee after 25 years. Following retirement he continued to farm and raise cattle on his family’s homesteaded land near Augusta.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 8, at Elmwood Cemetery in Augusta. Those attending should use the 12th Street entrance to the cemetery.
Visitation with family present will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, July 7, at Dunsford-Zeiner Funeral Home, Augusta.
Harold was born on Aug. 20, 1914 to Aubrey and Clara L. (Dennett) Kirkpatrick on the family farm in Butler County. He remained a lifetime resident of the area.
On March 27, 1943, he married Marjorie Chrisman of Augusta. She preceded him in death on Jan. 19, 2001. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Patty Kirkpatrick.
His survivors include: two daughters, Connie Wolf and Micki and her husband Kenny Brinkley, all of Augusta; five grandchildren
and nine great-grandchildren.
A memorial fund has been established with the Leukemia Society and donations may be sent in care of the funeral home.
Arrangements are under the direction of Dunsford-Zeiner Funeral Home in Augusta.


Evelyn M. White

Evelyn M. White, 91, Augusta, retired Cessna machinist, passed away on Friday, July 7, 2006.
Rosary at 7 p.m. Tuesday and mass at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 12, both at St. James Catholic Church in Augusta. Burial will be at the Hillcrest Cemetery in Florence.
Evelyn was the daughter of Leslie G. and Mary A. (Piper) Flowers.
She is survived by daughter, Patsy Mayo and her husband, Glen of El Dorado.
Memorials to St. James Catholic Church Building Fund or Total Homecare & Hospice.
Headley Funeral Chapel in Augusta has direction of the arrangements.

Colling

Goldie W. (Brown) Colling, 85, Augusta, retired LPN, died on Saturday, July 8, 2006.
Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 11, at Ryan Mortuary in Salina. Interment at Gypsum Hill Cemetery, Salina.
Visitation until 8 p.m. this evening at Ryan Mortuary in Salina.
Her survivors include: husband, George; children, Jesse Young, Sidney Young, Patricia Goud, Winnie Larson, Martin Colling, Bradly Colling, Bruce Colling, and Brian Colling; 25 grandchildren; 30 greatgrandchildren; one greatgrandchild.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Nancy Pauls; four sisters and five brothers.
Memorials to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice.
