Jeanne Miller
Jeanne Miller, 86, of El Dorado, died Monday, Oct. 16, 2006 at Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital.
The Celebration of her life will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 20, at First United Methodist Church in El Dorado. Interment will follow the services in Sunset Lawns Cemetery.
June Reigh Miller was born June 2, 1920, in Augusta, the daughter of Edward and Mary Mae McGehee Ralston. She attended Augusta schools as Jean Hooper and always was known as Jean or Jeanne. She was a graduate of Augusta High School.
She was secretary at El Dorado High School for 24 years. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, and United Methodist Women, serving on several committees and as a circle chair. She was a member of American Legion and a past member of Freya Study Club and Friends of the Library. She was with the same Wednesday Bridge Club for over 40 years.
She was married to Calvin Jacoby in the early 1940’s. He died in 1943. She married Calvin Miller in 1946. They were married 53 years. He preceded her in death in 1999.
She is survived by: a son, Woody Jacoby, of Kimberling City, Mo.; a daughter, Kandy Miller of El Dorado; a brother, Donald Troutman of Magalia, Calif.; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Memorials has been established with the First United Methodist Church and Partners in Education. Contributions may be left with the Kirby-Morris Funeral Home in El Dorado.

Ena Edwards, 70 , Augusta, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2006.
Graveside services 1 p.m .Saturday, Oct. 21, at Fairview Cemetery, rural Augusta. There will be no visitation.
Ena was born in Aberporth, Wales on Jan. 8, 1936. She worked as a State Registered Nurse in England and as a Registered Nurse for Medicalodge in Douglass, Walnut Valley Nursing Home and Susan B. Allen Hospital. On Feb. 6, 1962 she married Dean Edwards in Chicago. He survives.
Other survivors include: sons, Tony Popham and his wife Kate of Biggin Hill, England; Stephen Edwards and his wife Kim of Augusta; and Dean S. Edwards and his wife Shannon of Edmond, Okla.; a daughter, Diane Edwards Rose and her husband Dallas, Augusta; and five grandchildren Erica, Cade, Cole, Dylan and Nolan.
Memorials to Trinity Hospice 1938 N. Woodlawn Wichita, 67208.
Arrangements are under the direction of Headley Funeral Chapel in Augusta.
