Wayne E. Jolly

Wayne E. Jolly, 82, Joliet, ILL., formerly of Augusta, retired from Mobil Oil Corp. in 1985, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 25, 2006.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 30 at Dunsford-Zeiner Funeral Home, Augusta.
Graveside service will follow at 11:30 a.m. in Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta.
Wayne was a United States Navy World War II veteran, serving in Pearl Harbor. He was an avid woodworker, loved camping, skiing, and golfing.
He is survived by: his loving wife of 61 years, Phyllis (Gwin) Jolly; son, Robert (Valerie); daughter, Gwenda (Tom Signorelli) Buhle;
grandchildren, Jennie Gatchell, Chris and Jessica Jolly; great-grandchildren, Shelby Gatchell and Meckenzie Meulemans; numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his parents, Everett and Mildred (Rice) Jolly and twin brother, Duwayne in infancy.

lone E Bartel

lone E. Bartel, 88, Scandinavia, Wis. passed away on Monday, Nov. 27, 2006 at Appleton Medical Center.
The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 30, at Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church in Waupaca, Wis., with Rev. Jeffrey Holtan officiating.
Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Amherst.
She was born in Wild Rose on May 23,1918 to the late Harold and Laura (Handrich) Frazier. On October 28, 1942 she married Elmer Bartel; he preceded her in death on December 15, 2002. lone was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Waupaca. She had worked for many years at the Iola Nursing Home, lone loved to sew, needlework, baking, gardening and she. especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
She will be sadly missed by her children: Garold (Phyllis) Bartel of Scandinavia; and their family, Becky Hein and her children, Dustin and Grant of Manawa;
Ronda (Troy) Neidert and their children, Bryce, Kerrigan and Hayden of Waupaca;
Ruth (Brad) Trinrud and their children, Jensen and Griffin of Waupaca; John (April) Bartel and their daughter Verena of Scandinavia and Rachel Bartel of Algoma; Joyce (Gary) Chich of Iola and their family, James Chich (special friend: Darla) and children, Louis, Michael, Nathaniel, Samuel, Emma, Brandon and Brittany all of Waupaca; Holly (Kevin) Kaczor and their children, Joseph, Jacob and Katie of Fremont; Harlan (Susan) Bartel of Augusta, and their family; Christopher (Christy) Bartel and their children, Courtney, Caleb and Cody of Norwich, Kansas and Abby Bartel of Winfield, Kansas; sisters: Myrtle Jawort of Oshkosh; Doris Krinner of Manawa;
Edna Wurth of Manawa; other relatives and friends. In addition to her husband 1 and parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Loren, three grandchildren , and a granddaughter-in-law, Jennifer Chich.

Maxine Alice Ralston

Maxine Alice Ralston, 85, Wichita, homemaker, passed away on Nov. 22, 2006.
Graveside service was held yesterday at Elmwood Cemetery in Augusta.
She is survived by: husband, Glen of Wichita; daughters, Susan (Tom) Jabara of Wichita, Linda (Terry) Finn of Germantown, Tenn.;
brother, Harold Laughlin of Topeka; sister, Norma Ratts of Bedford, Texas;
grandchildren, Jason (Cheryl) Jabara, Josh (Sara) Jabara, Adam Finn, and Whitney Finn; great-grandchild, Madelyn Jabara.
She was preceded in death by her son, Steven.
Memorials to Catholic Care Center, 6700 E. 45th N., Wichita, 67226.
Hillside Funeral Home in Augusta handled the arrangements.
