Terry T. Kidd

Terry T. Kidd, 64, Wichita, formerly of Augusta and Clay Center, retired educator and small business owner, passed away on Friday, Dec. 8, 2006.
Visitation with the family from 6 to 8 p.m. this evening at Cochran Mortuary in Wichita.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Central Community Church in Wichita.
His survivors include: his wife, Irma of the home; son and daughter-in-law, David and Jenny Kidd; daughter and son-in-law, Margo and Randy Fields, all of Wichita;
brother and sister-in-law, Brad and Sally Jo Kidd of Atlanta; step mother, Nina Kidd of Burden; granddaughters, Tessa and Emily Kidd of Wichita; several nieces and nephews.
Memorials have been established with the American Diabetes
Association and/or Via Christi Hope.

Fernetta Arlene Russell

Fernetta “Fern” Arlene Russell, Rose Hill, age 95, homemaker, died Friday, Dec. 8, 2006.
Visitation 1 - 8 p.m. today, 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. Tuesday, Smith Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Road, Derby.
Funeral service 10 a.m. Wednesday, First Baptist Church, Douglass.
Fern was born Oct. 4, 1911 near Rose Hill, the youngest of five children bom to Charles and Alice Dennett. She married Eugene Russell, Sept. 12, 1940 at Newton.
Her survivors are: grandchildren, Todd Russell of West Virginia and Kirsten (Allen) Buie of Eufala, OK; great-granddaughter, Kaylea Buie of Eufala and several nieces and nephews.
Fern is preceded in death by her parents and husband, son, Jerald; daughter, JeAnne; brothers, Herman, France and Merle; and a sister, Bertha Marshall.
Memorials have been established with First Baptist Church, 107 S. Maple, Dbuglass, 67039 and Total HomeCare and Hospice, 250 W. Douglas, Ste. 101, Wichita, 67202.

Don R. Lockamy

Don R. Lockamy, 72, Mulvane, retired Mid Continent Savings and Loan purchasing manager, died Thursday, December 7, 2006.
Private service.
Survivors: sons, Ryan, Overland Park, Kyle, Augusta; daughter Kelly, Augusta; six grandchildren.
Smith Mortuary, Derby, in charge of arrangements.

Lois M. Pierce

Lois M. Pierce, 92, Augusta, and longtime El Dorado resident, died Saturday, Dec. 9, at Lakepoint Nursing Center, Augusta.
Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 12, at Walnut Valley Memorial Park, El Dorado.
Lois was born on March 2, 1914, in rural Burns, the daughter of Charles Edwin and Nellie E. Angleton Davis.
She was united in marriage to John K. Pierce on June 29, 1931, in El Dorado. They celebrated 75 years of marriage last June.
She lived in El Dorado for many years before moving to Augusta in 2002, to be closer to family.
Survivors include: her husband, John of the home; one son, Kenneth and wife, Pat Pierce of Augusta;
two daughters, Shirley and husband, Melvin Smith, Wichita, and Patricia and Phil Biggart of Augusta;
sister, Irene McKinzie of El Dorado; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grand-children.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and one sister.
A memorial has been established with the Alzheimer’s Association.
Carlson Funeral Home in El Dorado is handling the arrangements.

Quin Bosley

Quin Bosley, infant son of Eric and Marya Bosley of Augusta, was stillborn on Friday, Dec. 15, 2006.
In addition to his parents, Quin is survived by brothers, Chance, Wright, and Shane; sisters, Layne Grace and Wynn.
He will be greatly missed.

Herman H. Hoge

Herman H. Hoge, 78, Augusta, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 17, 2006.
Service arrangements were pending this morning with Dunsford-Zeiner Funeral Home in Augusta.
