Joyce Ann Ehret

Joyce Ann (DeHoff) Ehret, 64, Augusta, body shop tender for Rusty Eck, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2006.
Visitation from 1 to 7:30 p.m., with family from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. today; funeral service at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 8,
with Teresa Hodges, Latham United Methodist Church officiating, at Dunsford-Zeiner Funeral Home chapel, Augusta.
Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta.
She was born on Aug.8, 1942 in Apperson, Okla., the daughter of John Phillip and Geneva Mae (Henderson) DeHoff, Sr.
She is survived by: son, Robert Burke, Franklin, La.; daughters, Sharon (Ray) Young of Latham and Leona “Kay” Foreman, El Dorado; sister, Donna Vinson, Ardmore, Okla.; six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, four brothers, and grandson, J.D. Proffitt.
Arrangements by Dunsford-Zeiner Funeral Home in Augusta.

Frederick R. Schuster

Frederick R. Schuster, 83, of Wichita and Fall River, retired from Boeing after 37 years, died on Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2006.
Visitation with family from 6 to 8 p.m. this evening; funeral service at 1:30 p.m. Friday, both at Broadway Mortuary in Wichita.
He is survived by: his wife, Anna (Gerry) Schuster; daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia and Gary Martin of Fredonia and Beverly and John Morabito of Wichita; brother, Jack and
Rita Schuster of Denver, Colo.; nephews, Jerry and Dennis Emrich, both of Wichita; three nieces; seven grandchildren; 20 greatgrandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren .
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandson, John Fred Morabito.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with Oakview Christian Church, 4403 Greenhaven, Wichita, 67216.
Services by Broadway Mortuary, Wichita.

Phila May Pipkin

Phila May (Lantz) Pipkin, former Augustan and member of the AHS Class of 1944, passed away on Sept 17, 2006.
She is survived by her husband, C.M. Pipkin, #6 Cedarbend Lane,
Brookeland, Texas, 75931.

Kenneth H. Woodard

Kenneth H. Woodard, 80, Augusta, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2006.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 11, at Carlson Funeral Home in El Dorado.
Interment will follow the service in Walnut Valley Memorial Park.
Friends may call at the funeral home from noon to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 9 and Sunday, Dec. 10.
Kenneth was born on Aug. 29, 1926, in Maize, the son of Ernest A. and Roxie (Long) Woodard.
He was united in marriage to Aria Ruth Wellman on April 20, 1946.
She preceded him in death on July 2, 1977. He later married Bertha Haigh on Jan. 8, 1970.
He grew up in Maize and came to El Dorado in 1965. Kenneth was a retired local farmer and dairyman.
He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Maize and the Masonic Lodge in Valley Center.
He is survived by: his wife, Bertha of the home; three sons and their spouses, Mike and Zona Woodard of Warsaw, Mo.,
Don and Janet Woodard of El Dorado, Bob and Jolene Woodard of Leon; one daughter and her spouse, Cheryl and Tony Norris of Augusta;
two stepsons and their spouses, Darrel and Marilyn Mainz of Topeka, Douglas and Linda Mainz of Wichita;
one stepdaughter, Diane Cottingham of Wichita; brother, Larry Woodard of Maize; two sisters, Pauline Nicholson of Maize, Aleen Biby of Wichita;
16 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Alva, Bill and Wilford.
Memorials in his memory for the El Dorado Cancer Center may be left with Carlson Funeral Home, which has charge of the arrangements,
