Willie Gunter, II, 85, Wichita, USD 259 Votech building facility supervisor, brother of Will Dean Gunter of Douglass, died on Feb. 13, 2008.
Visitation from 6 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 22, at Jackson Mortuary Chapel, Wichita. Funeral service at 11 a.m. Saturday, at New Testament Non-denomina-tional Church, Wichita.
Other survivors: wife, Betty Jean Gunter; sons, Lester Phillips, Willie “Sonny” Gunter, III, and Charles A. “Chico” Gunter; daughters, Barbara Jean
Earson, Jacqueline “Jackie” C. Reid, Angela Maith, Rhandi Paulette Gunter-Foster, Michelle D. “Shelly” Griggsby, M. Denise Young, Jacque Carter-Gunter; sister, Jeanne Logan; 40 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 16 great-greatgrandchildren.

Edwin Conrady

Edwin Christopher Conrady, 80, Wakita, Okla., retired farmer, stockman and school bus driver, father of Keith Conrady of Augusta, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 16, 2008.
Visitation until 6 p.m. this evening at Prairie Rose, Williams Chapel in Anthony, Kan. Rosary at 9:15 a.m. and funeral mass at 10 a.m., both on
Wednesday, Feb. 20, at St. Mary’s Assumption Catholic Church in Wakita. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery in Medford, Okla.
He was born on Oct. 29, 1927 to Robert and Katherine (Ciscowski) Conrady. He married Leota Burlie on Feb. 3, 1950.
Other survivors include: wife, Leota; sons, Terry Conrady of Enid, Okla, and Dr. Rickie Conrady of Edmond, Okla.; daughter, Lori Conrady-Stevens of Edmond; brother, Louis Conrady of Jenks, Okla.; 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by: parents; brothers,
Frank, infant Robert, Fabe, Bob, Clemens; sisters, Otilda Cink, Susie Cink, Clara Conrady, Edith Roth, Cecelia Simons, Verena Larson, and Bertha Cink.
Memorials to St. Mary’s Assumption Catholic Church, Wakita Fire Department, or Wakita Education Foundation.
Arrangements by Prairie Rose Funeral Home, Williams Chapel in Anthony.
