Betty C. Blue
Betty C. Blue, 72, of Coffeyville, mother and mother-in-law of Rick and Shawn Blue of Augusta, passed away Sunday, Feb. 17, 2008.
Services were held on Feb. 20, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.
Betty was employed as Breakfast Manager at Hardee’s for 17 years. She also volunteered as a Pink Lady for the Coffeyville Regional Medical Center Auxiliary for 15 years.
Other survivors include : one daughter, Johnna Antle of Coffeyville; sister, Ruth Broker of South Coffeyville, Okla.; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, John; her parents, and sister, Rozella Mangels.
The family suggests memorials to the Coffeyville Regional Medical Center Auxiliary; contributions may be left with the funeral home or mailed c/o David W. Barnes Funeral Home, 306 N. Cline Rd., Coffeyville, KS 67337

Julia A. "Judy" Scholfield, 88, homemaker of Augusta, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2008.
Memorial service 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 27,at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta.
Julia was bom in Augusta on Aug. 26,1919; the daughter of the late Carl and Hazel (Beaver) Tinkler. On Dec. 30, 1939 she married
Kenneth "Mick" Scholfield. He preceded her in death on July 30, 2004. Her brothers, Wendell, Wilford "Chub", and Jack Tinkler preceded her in death also.
She is survived by: a son, Dean Scholfield of Phoenix, Ariz.
Memorials to the First Baptist Church.

Dovie Pauline Shoup
Dovie Pauline Shoup, 89, homemaker of Augusta, passed away Friday, Feb, 22, 2008.
Graveside service was held at 1 p.m. today, at
Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta. Dovie was born in Jay, Oklahoma on Jan. 6, 1919;
the daughter of the late John Allen and Annie Mae (Seaburn) Chrismon. On Nov. 14, 1936 she married Frank Shoup in Winfield and he preceded her on June 30, 1985. She was preceded in death by: infant son, Charles Allen Shoup; daughter, Judy Ann Fowler; and sisters, Christine Thomas and Margie Kirkpatrick.
She is survived by: daughter Sandra Oswald and husband John of Park City; sister, Darlene Lackey of Augusta; grandchildren, JoAnn Woody and husband Steve, and Vickie Thyer; great-grandchildren, Jason Woody and wife Rachel, Lisa Woody and boyfriend Jacob Armour, Pauline Davis, Anna Thyer, Raymond Hale Jr. and Josie Comby; and a great-great-grandchild, Lillian Pauline Woody. Memorials to American Cancer Society.
