Doris Ann Chilcott
Doris Ann (Mabry) Chilcott, 72 of Sun City, Ariz., formerly of
Augusta, passed away
at home on Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2008.
Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 1, at the Augusta First United Methodist Church.
Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta.
Doris Ann, the youngest child of George and Gertrude (Peck) Mabry, was born on Oct. 24, 1935, in El Dorado. She grew up in Kansas and attended Kansas State University. She met her future husband, Bill Chilcott, at the university and they married on Jan. 27,1957.
Her survivors include: her husband, William; son, Mark (Anne) Chilcott of Thousand Oaks, Calif.; daughters, Susan (Kenneth) Rabe and Julie Chilcott, both of Peoria, Ariz.; sister, Donna (Lowell) Putnam of Augusta; five grandchildren, Mariko, Kenji, Nolan, Jenna, and Maggie.
Her brother, George Mabry, Jr., preceded her in death.
Remembrance donations may be made to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower Street, Phoenix, AZ, 85014, or to the First United Methodist Church, Augusta.

Jack Sloderbeck, Sr., 86, Augusta, former project planner at Boeing, died on Sunday, Feb. 24, 2008.
Visitation from noon to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 27,
at Hillside Funeral Home, Augusta. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 28, at the Augusta First Christian Church. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta.
He is survived by: sons, Jack (Carolyn) Sloderback, Jr. and Mike (Diana) Sloderbeck; daughter, Jessica (Kerry) Mayfield; step-daughters, Becky Ronsick and Norma Pearson; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; wife, Edna; daughter, Marcia and great-grandson, Dylan.
