Charles T. Drews
Charles T. "Chuck" Drews, 88, of Augusta, passed away, Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2008.
Memorial service 10 a.m. Tuesday,
March 4, at the First United Methodist Church, Augusta. Military graveside rites 3 p.m. Tuesday at Fairview Cemetery, Coffeyville.
Charles was born in Coffeyville on February 16, 1920; the son of the late Carl Edward and Esther Eulalia (Chastain) Drews.
He retired from Cessna as a welder and served in the U.S. Army Air Corp during WW II as well.
On November 28,1946 he married Emma Katherine (Muxworthy) in Altamont and she preceded him in death on February 8, 2007. A sister, Emma Jean Trent preceded him in death also.
He is survived by: children, Sandy Drews of Arvada, Colo., Larry (Julie) Drews of Wichita and Phil Drews of Augusta; sister, Margaret John of Spokane Valley, Wash; grandchildren, Mark (Corina) Suits, Steven (Michelle) Drews, Hilary (Roy) Trudo, and Rebecca (Randy) Cartel-great-grandchildren, Trey, Tyler, Tate and Turner Trudo, Shelby and Weston Miller, Rhett and Kye Carter, Sidney and Sara Drews.

Leroy Guy Rosebraugh
Leroy Guy Rosebraugh, 62, of Augusta, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2008.
Viewing 2-8 p.m. Saturday and 1-8 p.m.
Sunday, with service at 2 p.m. on Monday, March 3, at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta.
Leroy was born in Emporia, on May 15, 1945, son of the late Guy and Fern (Gable) Rosebraugh. He graduated from Matfield Green High School in 1963 and attended Pittsburgh State University for two years. Leroy retired from BNSF Railroad as a Section Foreman in 2005 after 40 years. He was a very active person being involved with Boy Scouts of America Troop 209 and as a Unit Commissioner; a muzzle-loader and buckskinner; a 32nd Degree Mason. Leroy was a 5th degree black belt
in Olinawan Karate who trained many students at Johnson Street Dojo. On Sep. 5, 1970 he married Gloria Frazier in Wellington and she survives. He is also survived by; daughter, Christina Rosebraugh of Wichita; son, Spencer Rosebraugh of Augusta; mother, Casilda Rosebraugh of Emporia; brother, Robert Jones and wife Judy of Emporia; sister, Deanna Starkey and husband Richard of Cottonwood Falls; sister, Virginia Peterson and husband Gary of Bazaar; aunts, uncles and cousins from the Rosebraugh and Gable sides of the family.
