Nora “Jeri’ (Blalack) Wilson, 95, Augusta, retired interior decorator, passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2008.
Visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday at Dunsford-Z e i n e r F u n e r a 1 I Home, Augusta. Service at
11 a.m. Tuesday, March 25 at the First United Methodist Church, 2420 N. Ohio. Interment in Arlington National Cemetery.
Jeri was born on March 4, 1913 to Grene and Samantha Anna Blalack in Aurora, Mo. She married Ralph Whiting on Dec. 13, 1931. He preceded her on April 2,1962. She later married James Wilson on Nov. 1,1970. He preceded her on Sept. 26, 2006.
Family: daughter, Beverly “Debbiane” Wothke and husband Chuck (deceased) of Waianae, Hawaii and their children Victoria “Vicki” (deceased), Teresa and her son Desmond; daughter, Sydney and husband Bobby Ellis of Richmond, Virginia and their children Christine “Chris”, Bradley “Brad” and Bryan (deceased). Sister, Dorothy (Bill) Rathbun of Fairfield, Iowa; her beloved niece, Shelly of Wichita; 14 nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews. Step-son, Dr. Larry (Jan) Wilson of Seattle, Wash.; step-daughter, Sara (Frank) Shirk of St. Charles, Mo.; four step-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by parents; brothers and sisters, Audra, Tressa, Marie, Ethelda, Charles, and Ann.
Jeri was loved by her family and many, many friends throughout her long life and she was always lovingly active in her community and churches.
Memorials to the American Cancer or the American Heart Association in care of the funeral home.

Alice Markley, 77. Augusta, passed away Thursday, March 20, 2008.
Visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. this evening at Dunsford-Zeiner Funeral Home, Augusta. Funeral
service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 22, at the First United Methodist Church in Augusta.
Internment will be at Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta.
Alice was born on March 26, 1930 to Ina and Orrin Brown of the Bloomington Community.
She graduated from Augusta High School and married Lowell Markley on June 13, 1955, at the Cumberland Church.
Survivors include: husband, Lowell Markley of Augusta; sister, Irma Quackenbush of Eastsound, Wash.;
children, Aleta Markley of Newton and Sharon (Doyle) Manahan of Haysville; grandchildren, David Manahan of Nebraska, Laura Manahan of Wichita, and Marsha Manahan of Haysville.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Augusta First United Methodist Church, the Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, or donor’s choice in do the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Dana Ruth Brown.
