Harold Higgs

Harold Lee Higgs, 88, El Dorado, heavy equipment operator for Skelly-Getty Refinery passed away Thursday, March 20, 2008 at the Catholic Care Center in Wichita.
Visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, March 23, at Dunsford-Zeiner Funteral Home, Augusta. Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m.
on Monday, March 24, at the First United Methodist Church, 2420 North Ohio in Augusta, with Pastor Curtis Cadenhead officiating.
Harold was born to Lloyd and Nannie (Nestlerode) Higgs on June 29, 1919 in Anderson, Mo. He married Velma June Simmons on Feb. 6, 1948. Velma preceded him in death in May of 2002.
Survivors include: daughters, Diane (Ted) Trask and Holly (Paul) Lynch all of Wichita; brother, Marvin (Doris) Higgs, Augusta; grandchildren, Scott (Amy) Trask, Erin (Derek) Davis, Zack
(Michelle) Lynch, and Megan (Brian) Rathmel; great-grandchildren, Haley, Jayden, Miranda, Cole,
Cammie, Samantha and Chloe.

Martha Lou Hankins

Martha Lou Hankins, 70, Wichita, passed away on Wednesday, March 19,2008.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, March 24, with viewing prior to service, at Hillside Funeral Home, Augusta.
She is survived by: Don Hankins; daughters, Marilyn Gibson, Rhonda Luna and Linda Black; sisters, Cherl Little and Kaye Hodge; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
