Marie E. Lane
Marie E. Lane, 89, Andover, passed away on Sunday, June 8, 2008.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, June 11, at Hillside Funeral Home, Augusta. Celebration of Life will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday;, June 12, at Andover United Methodist Church, 1429 N. Andover Road.
Interment will be at Andover Cemetery.
She was born on May 5, 1919 to Albert and Ethel Hill near Rock, Kans. She married Albert Lawrence Lane on March 7, 1940. She moved to Andover in 1997 following the death of her husband.
Survivors include: three children, Robert (Vera) Lane, Richard (Nancy) Lane, and Cathryn (Robert) Foxworth; six grandchildren; six greatgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, sister, and two brothers.
Memorials to Hospice Care of Kansas, 206 E. Central, El Dorado, 67042; Andover UMC, 1429 N. Andover Rd., Andover, 67002; or Hope Music Works, 1617 N. Main, Rose Hill, 67133.

Lydia Pearl Dexter, 80, Augusta, retired Lehr’s Motel housekeeper passed away Friday, June 13, 2008.
Viewing from 10 a.m. to noon on Monday, June 16, at the funeral home. Viewing also at 12:30 p.m. before the graveside service at 1 p.m., at Elmwood Cemetery at the 12th Street entrance, Augusta
Pearl was born to Essley and Carrie Marie (Johnstone) Elgin on July 23, 1927 in rural Augusta. She married Clifford “Rosie” Dexter on Dec. 12, 1959 in Miami, Okla. They precede her in death and also a brother John Elgin.
Survivors: sons, Robert (Jaydena) Church, Augusta, Kenneth (Brenda) Church, Andover; daughter Linda (John) Calvin, Augusta; six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Memorials to the Humane Society or the Augusta Historical Museum in care of funeral home.
