Marvin Proctor

Funeral services for Marvin Alton Proctor, a former Augusta resident, were held this afternoon, June 24, 2008, at the Cleveland First Church of Nazarene, Cleveland, Okla.
He died Friday, June 20, 2008.
Rev. Stephen Hundley and Rev. Michelle Proctor officiated and burial was in the Woodland Cemetery at Cleveland, Okla.
Proctor was born July 22, 1914 to Hurshel and Maudie Proctor at Lamar, Okla. He attended school at Shady Grove, Okla.
On Sept. 3, 1932, he married Mary Camp east of Lamar at the home of Rex Capenter in a ceremony performed by Rev. John Savage. They made their home in the Lamar area.
They were in California from 1946 to 1948 before returning to Wetumka, Okla. In 1951, they moved to Augusta and in 1971, they moved to the Cleveland, Okla., area. After Mary’s death, he moved to the Baptist Retirement Village in 2000 and remained there until his death.
Marvin was very active in church work. He was a carpenter by trade. He was a hard worker, an honest and dependable man. He helped his children however he could.
Marvin's favorite past times were gardening, playing the harmonica, and playing games. Whenever he had time, he loved to fish, hunt, and do wood crafts. He loved God and his family.
Marvin leaves daughters Ruby (Ray) Dilday of Wetumka, Okla., Shirley (Jerry) Bramwell and husof Wichita, Glenda (Al) Baughter of Tulsa, Okla.; sons, Vernon (Patricia) Proctor of Hominy, Okla,, Alvin (Judy) Proctor of Osage, Okla., 17 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, and 10 great-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by wife Mary, son Bobby Proctor, daugher Wilma Connor, brother E.E. Proctor, and sister Velma Smith.
Mark Griffith Memorial Funeral Home-Riverside Chapel in Sand Springs, Okla., had charge of the services.

Henry Ford Boucher

Henry Ford Boucher, 84, Douglass, farmer and machinist, died Sunday, June 22, 2008.
Visitation 1-8 p.m. Wednesday, with family receiving friends 5-7 p.m,, Smith Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby. Funeral service 10 a.m. Thursday, Douglass Church of Christ, 201 West 1st Street, Douglass.
Survivors include: his wife of 55 years, Maxine; sons and daughters-in-law, Howard and Becky Boucher, Wichita and Henry F. II and Diana Boucher, Mulvane; daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Skip Bahl, Valley Center; brother, Jack Boucher, Burden; sisters, Martha Cody, Augusta, Ruby Mahlandt, Douglass, Ethel Rickard, Newton and Eleanor Leap, Noble, Okla.; grandchildren, Joel Bahl, Joshua, Kyle and Heather Boucher; greatgrandchildren, Kylee, Andrew and Cole Boucher.
Henry is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Lena Boucher; brothers, William, George,’ Virgil,
Fred and Ernest, and a grandson, Levi Bahl.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, 313 S. Market, Wichita, KS 67202.
