Gerald ‘Lynn’ Goucher

Gerald “Lynn” Goucher, 64, El Dorado, formerly of Augusta, retired helicopter pilot and night manager at O’Reilly Auto Parts, pas’sed away
Wednesday, June 18, 2008.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, June 23, at
the Victory Worship Center, 1924 Dearborn in Augusta.
Lynn was born May 9, 1944 in St. Joseph, Mo.,
and served in the U.S. Army as a helicopter
pilot. Later he married Vickie Maria Gaspard in Patterson, La.,on Feb. 8, 1978.
Survivors: spouse, Vickie of the home; sons Gerald Goucher, Dothan, Ala. and Marcus Goucher, El Dorado; daughters, Regina (William) Kearney, El Dorado and Julia Goucher, Towanda;
sisters, Bert (Trini) Alfaro and Lois (Olen) Chance both of Augusta, and Kay (ArWayne) Hill, Home City, Kans.; 11 grandchildren and three greatgrandchildren.
He was preceded in death by parents, Gerald Eustice and Ella Rachael (Carr) Goucher Blythe, stepfather George Blythe; brother, Donald Goucher; and sister, Geraldine “Geri” Burger.
Memorials to the Kansas Veterans Family Reunion may be left with the funeral home.
Services entrusted to Dunsford-Zeiner Funeral Home, Augusta.

Joan “Jodi” Laubhan, Douglass, died Wednesday, June 18.
Funeral arrangements are with the Cornerstone funeral home of Wichita.

Ethel Maxine Uselman, 84, Douglass, died on Sunday, June 22, 2008.
Visitation from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Hilyard-Smith Funeral Home in Douglass, with graveside service following at 2 p.m., at the Douglass Cemetery.
A memorial has been established with Medicalodge of Douglass.

Margaret Perry, 79, Douglass, died on Thursday, June 26, 2008.
Service arrangements are pending with Cornerstone of Wichita.

Viola L. McCarl

Viola L. McCarl, 86, Wichita, passed away on Tuesday, June 24, 2008. Funeral service at 10 a.m. Saturday, at Hillside Funeral Home East in Wichita. Interment at Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta.
Survivors are: son, Larry Johnson and daughters, Virginia Tharp, Brenda Johnson, Patricia Johnson, and Loretta Johnson.
