Edith Hiedeman Died Thursday
Edith Mae Hiedeman, 66, El Dorado, mother of Marvin Hiedeman of Leon, died Thursday.
Her service was at 11 a.m. today at the Carlson Funeral Home in El Dorado.
A memorial has been established with the American Cancer Society.
Other survivors include her husband, Pete; sons, Russell, Ivan, Alvin and Rex, all of EL Dorado; 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and six stepgrandchildren.

Ruth Jones Dies At 88
Ruth Bertha Jones, 88, Zion, Ill., died Monday, Dec. 12, at Zion, Ill.
Her funeral service will be 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon, Dec. 17, at the Dunsford Funeral Home chapel here and burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery. Rev. Gush Kubish, pastor of Central Baptist Church, will officiate.
This retired Wichita sales woman was born July 16, 1895 in Wichita as a daughter of William and Augusta Rosenow Jones.
Surviving are a sister, Esther McConnell of Chicago, Ill.; a nephew, Hugh Jones of Towanda, and nieces, Leota Harbes of Towanda, Georgia Kingsbury and Helen Christian, both of Andover.

Rollin Wilson Dies At 57
Rollin T. Wilson, 57, Littleton, Colo., brother-in-law of Hazel Bankston of Augusta, died Monday.
His funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Campbell Funeral Home in Eureka.
He was a retired Southwestern Bell Telephone Co.
Other survivors include his wife, Clara May Wilson; daughters, Sylvia and a son, Mike.

Thelma Cain Rites Friday
Thelma P. Cain, 22, Augusta, died yesterday at Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital in El Dorado after suffering a self-inflicted gunshot wound at an El Dorado motel.
Investigating officials identified the deceased woman as Thelma Cain Urban yesterday, but her family reports she took her maiden name back after a divorce.
The funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday in the Carlson Funeral Home at El Dorado. Burial will be in the Walnut Valley Memorial Park there.
She was born March 3, 1961 in El Dorado to Raymond Delbert and Marilyn Sue Geer Cain.
Survivors include her parents of rural Leon; four daughters, Anna Marie, Amanda Joan, Amber Dawn and Anita Jane Urban, all of Wichita; five sisters, Sue Prewitt of Towanda, Linda Cain of Billings, Mont., Candice Sue Cain, Kimberly Ann Cain and Staci Lynn Cain, all of Leon, and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Geer of Potwin.

Mary Fowler Dies At 58
Mary Jane Fowler, 58, Dexter, sister of Julia Fowler of Augusta, died yesterday at Grouse Manor there.
Graveside services will be Saturday at the Hickham Cemetery in Moniteau County, Mo.
Survivors include brothers, Wally of Tucson, Ariz., Shelby of Lupus, Mo., George of Odessa, Texas, and Randall of Albuquerque, N.M., and other sisters, Flora Farris of Iola and Marla Vierling of Powell, Wyo.

Dorothy Graham Guest, a former Augustan, died this morning in Grove, Okla. Her funeral arrangements are pending.

Helen Reynolds Dies At Hospital
Helen M. Reynolds, 77, formerly of Wichita, died today at Augusta Medical Complex.
Her funeral will be 2 o'clock Monday afternoon at the Dunsford Funeral Home chapel and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
She was born Aug. 8, 1906 to Jacob and Barbara Lowenstein Marthaley. Reynolds was a retired retail salesperson.
She leaves a sister, Rose Wells of Sun City, Ariz., two nephews, Jack Steffes and Bob Walker, and a niece, Mrs. Edwin Brown of Olpe.

Funeral Set For ‘Dot’ Guest
Dorothy “Dot" Guest, Grove, Okla., formerly of Augusta, died Thursday at the Grove General Hospital.
The rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church in Grove.
Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at St. Elizabeth’s Catholic Church. Burial will be in the Hickory Grove Cemetery.
She was the daughter of D.D. “Blackie" and Mona Graham.
She married Ed Guest. He survives.
Other survivors include two daughters, Sue George of Anaheim, Calif., and Sharry Warren of Grove; brothers, Jim Graham of Longview, Texas and Darrell Graham of Santa Ana, Calif.; three sisters, Shirley Guy of Augusta, Charlene Campbell of Santa Ana, and Delores Looney of Venita, Okla., and her mother-in-law, Mattie Guest of Augusta.
