Pauline Davison
Pauline Davison, 87, Augusta, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 10,2008.
Viewing 4-8 p.m. with family to greet friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday and
funeral service 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 14,2008, all at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta.
Pauline was born in Knoxville, Tenn. on Dec. 27, 1920 and moved to Grand Island, Neb. with family in 1927. She attended all schooling in Grand Island and graduated from high school in 1940. Pauline met husband Keith H. Davison at the First Christian Church in Grand Island in 1936 and married Dec. 24, 1941 in Kinsley, Kan. Keith and Pauline resided in Kinsley until July 1942 when Keith was drafted into the Army and Pauline returned to Grand Island.
She resided there until Keith returned home from the Army in 1945, when he first met his first born, Regi, at the age of 3 years. Keith and Pauline then moved to Augusta, where they resided and ran a dairy farm from 1945 until 1978. During that time, Pauline owned, managed, cooked and waitressed at various establishments. In 1978, Keith and Pauline moved into Augusta at 1917 Prairie Lane and have resided there since. They are members of Cumberland Community Church of rural Augusta.
Pauline is survived by: husband, Keith Davison; daughters, Jody Link and Regi Eldringhoff; sister, Peggy Lewis all of Augusta; brother, Richard McFeely of Hastings, Neb.; grandchildren, Shane Eldringhoff, Michelle Register and Courtnie Kingsley all of Augusta; seven great grandchildren all of Augusta.
She was preceded in death by parents, Josie Mae King and Roy McFeely; three infant
brothers; and a grandson Shawn Eldringhoff.
Memorials to Home Healthcare Connection Hospice.

Helen Geneva (Johnson) Pitcher, 89, former long time resident of Benton, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 10,2008.
Visitation with the family will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 14, and services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Aug.15, both at Downing & Lahey Mortuary East, Wichita. Interment will be at 3 p.m. at the Benton Cemetery.
Survivors are: daughters, Judy Evans of Maryland and Janet and husband, John Whittington of Kansas; grandsons, Jai Evans and wife, Moria;
children, Benjamin, Ameila and Nicholas all of Washington D.C., Stewart Evans of Massachusetts and Justin Evans of Maryland; nephew, Michael Mahon and wife, Leslie, sons, Kellen and Ryan, all of Georgia; niece, Kathy Mahon and husband, Milan Jamrich and son, Alex, all of Texas.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Hermie Johnson, husband, Virgil W. Pitcher, brother, Harold Johnson and sister, Lois Mahon.
Helen lived most of her life in Benton. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, attending church, traveling and loved gardening.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established with the Douglass Public Library, P.O. Box 190, Douglass, KS, 67039 and Hospice Care of Kansas, 206 E. Central, El Dorado, KS, 67042.
