Charles Rollings

Charles Louis Rollings, 34, Augusta, retired Beechcraft welder and Rollings Auto Salvage
owner, passed away Saturday , Aug. 16, 2008, at his home.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 20; funeral service at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 21, both at Dunsford-Zeiner Funeral Home Chapel, Augusta.
Charles was born to Louis and Minnie (Metcalf) Rollings on Dec. 18, 1923, in El Dorado. Charles served in the U.S.
Army during World War II.
He then married Naoma Mae Collins on Sept. 27, 1946, in Kent, Wash.
Survivors include: sons, Bruce of Rushville, Neb., Gary of Wichita, Steve of El Dorado; daughters, Sharon (Charles) Leader, Douglass, Debbie Ham-stead, Dewey, Okla., Kathy (George) Rose, El Dorado; sister, Hazel Stackley, El Dorado; 21 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Charles is preceded in death by his parents; spouse; son, Louis “Jimmy” Rollings; brothers, Glenn and Earl; sisters, Geneva Owens and Mary Swartz.

Robert ‘Bob’ Weaver

Robert “Bob” Weaver, 87, Douglass, retired Mobil Oil Refinery truck dock operator, died Sunday, Aug. 17,2008.
Viewing from 2-8 p.m., with family present from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Hil-yard-Smith
Funeral Home, 507 S. Maple, Douglass. Graveside service at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 20, at the Douglass Cemetery.
Bob was a member of the 11th Air borne Division-U.S. Army.
Survivors: wife, Jean; son, Richard of Douglass; daughters, Karen (Jim) Tatom of Douglass, Linda Weaver (Gaylen Myers) of Atlanta, Ks.,
Trish (Scott) Dombeck of Arkansas City, Tina (Bryan) Roberts of Winfield; sister, Virginia Trebbe of Augusta;
15 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents Dyke and Beulah Koons Weaver; one son and grandson.
