Betty L. Shirley

Betty L. Shirley, 81, homemaker of Augusta, passed away Saturday, Oct. 4, 2008.
Visitation 6-8 p.m. this evening, and service at 10 a.m. Wednesday,
Oct.8, at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta.
Betty was born on Feb. 26,1927 in El Dorado; the
daughter of the late William Steve and Bertha Ann (Luttrell) Woolery.
She is survived by: a nephew, Steve Woolery of Rogersville, Mo., and a niece, Glenda Bledsoe of Augusta.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J.
L. Shirley in 1982, as well as 11 of her siblings.
Arrangements by Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta.

Raymond Wills

Raymond Wills, 80, Augusta, died on Sunday, Oct. 12,2008.
Funeral service was held this afternoon at the Augusta Church of Christ.
His survivors are: spouse, Esther; sons, Carl (Lynne), Loyd (Jean), John (Kathy); brothers, Carl and Leslie; sister, Ruth, Ann, Ethel and Helen; 17 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations to the Bear Valley Preaching School may be left with Dunsford-Zeiner Funeral Home, Augusta.

Jim Wallace Hoyle

Jim Wallace Hoyle, 66, Augusta, retired electrical inspection crew chief from Beech Aircraft, passed away on Friday, Oct. 10, 2008.
Visitation from 1 to 8 p.m. today, with family to greet friends from 7 to 8 p.m., at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta. Graveside service at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 15, at Greenwich Cemetery, 37th St. N. and Webb in Wichita.
His survivors are: his wife, Joan; son, Jack Hoyle and his fiance, Gina; daughter, Lynda (Glenn) Abbondanza; step sons, Roy (Lisa) Morgan and Brad Morgan; step daughter, Anne (Troy)
Williams; 19 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Jimmy Hoyle.
Memorials to the American Heart Association or American Diabetes Association.
